At Turners Cycles we sell KMC Go Waxed chains and l**e. I've trialled these for over a year on my own bike and the results are fantastic. I've got an extra 1000 miles+ out of my chain and cassette, it's much cleaner and it's a lot less time consuming to maintain than traditional oil l**es.

The KMC system is really easy, no messing about with removing the chain or pots of hot wax. Just ride and top up the wax with a wax drip l**e, just like you would with oil. For deep cleaning remove the chain a couple of times a year and rinse in very hot water. Easy!

Spotted... New tech at Turners Cycles! 🧐

Power meters have been around for a good while, we are trialling these power meter pedals from Magene for three very good reasons.

Firstly we are going to be offering an upgrade on our very popular bike fittings. From September we'll be offering power testing, pedal stroke analysis and position optimization using data from these pedals. With this accurate data, alongside a session in the bike fit studio we will be able to 'put the icing on the cake' in optimizing your efficiency and power on the bike.

The second reason I'm putting these pedals through their paces on my bike is that we are excited to be stocking them at Turners Cycles. Everything we sell is rigorously tried and tested!

So far I have been very impressed, easy to set up and stacks of very accurate data. I've tweaked and adjusted my bike fit and so far I've balanced my left / right power from 46% - 54% to 50% - 50% and at Zone 2 heart rate gained between 8 and 10 watts. That's a big win!

Thirdly is price, Magene have been making power meters for the big global brands for many years. They have now launched their own range of power meters, bike computers and other tech at exceptionally competitive prices.

Looks like Pogacar has been following our tips on Facebook... 1 X drivetrain and 35mm (38mm) tyres for Paris Roubaix, though I reckon he should fit tubeless foam inserts too, maybe next year. 🙂
