Please note Tuesday 23rd & 30th we're running some special BJJ classes

The nogi guys will miss out classes on Xmas eve & New Years Eve so we're changing up the Tuesday classes on 23rd & 30th to invite all the nogi guys to train together with the gi folks and get everyone together

Some timetable changes happening from this week

The main one is that MMA moves to Friday evening. There is no longer an MMA class on Sunday morning

New Kid's MMA class on Mondays

And Tuesday's Adult Advanced BJJ class is going to be a trouble-shooting class. We trialed this last night and it worked great with lots of questions and input from all the guys there. We can all learn from each other

We asked AI to summarise our online reviews and what people think of Ascent Combat Sports. To keep everything honest & fair, we even asked for some genuine negatives (see slide 5)

We're making some changes to the BJJ Timetable, from 1st June to allow for more sparring time

*Monday*
The 7:15pm class will be techniques & drilling
8:15pm class will be sparring

*Thursday*
We're making the same change here
The 8:15pm class will now be for all belts and a sparring class

You are welcome to join in any class part way through if you can't make it on time due to work/family

You can stay for only part of the sparring classes if that suits you better
eg You can do 3-4 rounds rather than stay for the full hour
You can also use this time for more drilling if you wish. You don't have to roll for every round

We're going to try to also use Thursdays Sparring class for questions & troubleshooting. Both Gary's will generally be in these classes to answer questions and to help with any problems you're having.

We will also have occasional ' *special classes* ' on Thursdays, merging both classes into a 2 hour super-session on a specific topic (like a seminar). More info on this to follow.

*Saturdays 'Competition' classes* will also be run as an Open Mat for those that don't want to do the harder Competition training (competitors are still welcome to do the comp training

6:15pm Beginners/White Belts
7:15pm All Belts
8:15pm Coloured Belts

As mentioned in classes, from 1st January 2025 it is required that you have a RGA gi for BJJ classes, and RGA rashguard for nogi
