A rollercoaster of a morning at the Norton Canes FC tournament, the boys didn’t really play their best, but boy they don’t know when they’re beaten! 💪🏼

Initially making hard-work of it in the group stages we then scored a last second winner in the semi-final, followed by another last second equaliser in the final, the boys then calmly scored all their penalties 🥶 leaving it to Joe to do what he does best, saving 2 penalties to take the win 👏🏼

It’s been our most successful summer to date, but the most pleasing part today was the complements our boys received for their behaviour and sportsmanship when other teams around them we’re losing their heads 🤯

It’s always disappointing to leave players at home but the boys who were lucky enough to be selected did Telford Ajax Fc proud today at the Sparta FC tournament.

Coming out as group winners, battled through the semi’s finals on pens then narrowly pipping Dawley Town F.C. to the trophy 🏆 in a thrilling final 👏🏼

It’s been a hugely successful season for the boys, today was an opportunity to shout about what each individual player offers to the collective success of the team 🏆

We also wanted to thank everyone who’s helped along the way the coaches, volunteers, supporters, parents as well as our sponsors Fodens Solicitors 👏🏼

Congratulations to Telford Ajax who were our U11 Champions 🏆💚✨

A hot and tense afternoon at the Shropshire Lions FC tournament today, thankfully our boys kept their cool 😎 and came away with the spoils 🏆

Some close games vs Oswestry boys and girls club Worthen Juniors FC and finally Shrewsbury Up and Comers FC each pushed us all the way.

But today was a real team performance with everyone playing their part following a disappointing day last weekend!

But as we’ve told the boys “Success is not final, Failure is not fatal, It is the courage to continue that counts” 💪🏼

Good Luck 🍀 to all our boys for their up coming SATs 📝 this week, they’ve overcome the nerves and plenty of hurdles this season, it’s just the same, You can do it boys 💪🏼

Our last today game following a long hard season Vs our friends Albrighton FC after an intense few weeks it was nice to play in a relaxed environment where the kids could just play.

It also allowed us freedom to mix things up, which seemed to bring the best out the boys with some great attacking play, well taken goals and some assured defending 👌🏼

Today’s MOTM 🏆 want to one our quieter boys Abdullah, he produced his best performances playing in CM with an assist and a goal of his own 👏🏼
