We were treated to a 11 goal thriller this afternoon vs Bridgnorth Spartans ⚽️

Although for us it meant more last minute heartache 😫 with Bridgnorth nicking it at the death.

Our boys couldn’t be faulted for their effort though, after taking a deserved lead into half time we were soon pegged back, then went behind but the boys never gave in, twice pulling us level before being caught on the break as we pushed for the winner 🫣

That’s our 3rd game where we’ve been beaten by a single goal at the death, which is so frustrating for all, hopefully if we can cut out the errors and tighten up at the back the results will eventually come.🤞🏻

Today our CM two really shone, especially in the first half, no coincidence the MOTM votes 🗳️ were shared amongst them, with Lukas bagging today’s houours 👏🏼

The perfect morning for football today against Shrewsbury Up and Comers FC

Both teams desperate to get 3pts on the board, thankfully it was our day today, we were a constant threat up front throughout and took a deserved lead going in at H/T.

The 2nd half saw the boys at the back put a real shift in to limited the opposition too few chances, Unfortunately a late goal made the game a bit more nervy than needed to be, but thankfully we saw the game out for the win.

Today’s MOTM went to Vlad with a composed defensive performance, winning his battles throughout the game 👏🏼

Tough day at the office today 😩

A number of defensive errors really cost us today against a Nova United Football Club team that were up for it from the off.

After a close 1st half we drew the game level. Early in the 2nd we just couldn’t capitalise on the momentum swing quickly going 2 behind, unfortunately a few heads then dropped and Nova took advantage of it.

But we’ll lick our wounds, get back to the training pitch and move on to the next game 💪🏼

Today’s only really shining light was our MOTM Sunnie, he was closely marked throughout and had to ride multiple strong tackles but still managed to bag a brace including an absolute worldie 🚀 in the top bins 👏🏼

1st competitive game at U12s in the A league of the Telford Junior and Youth Football League No easy games this season.

Today’s game Vs Dawley Town F.C. was a well matched full blooded affair with plenty of firmiliar faces on both sides giving their all 💪🏼

Telford Ajax Fc took the lead via well worked corner and a clinical finish from Sunnie ⚽️ only to be pegged back when Dawley capitalised on a series of mistakes, thankfully Joe then pulled of a wonderful save 🧤 to go in 1-1 at HT.

Dawley then came came out fast the 2nd half and took the lead on the break before Israel made it 2-2, with another clinical finish from the penalty spot ⚽️

This set up a nervy last 20 for all watching with the opposition disappoingly for us taking the lead again with a nice finish from the angle to make it 2-3 😩

A late 5mins surge of continues pressure from our boys and a couple of goal mouth scrambles just couldn’t find the equaliser we felt we earned.

Well done Dawley 👏🏼 we move on to next week vs Nova United Football Club

Today’s MOTM went to William for his tenacity and never give in attitude, always a thorn in any attackers side 👏🏼
