🎾 WHAT A WEEK AT THE TORBAY OPEN! 🎾

We couldn’t be prouder of all our players who competed in this year’s Grade 3 Torbay Open! 💚

It was absolutely brilliant to see so many of our players out on court, competing across lots of different age groups and events, supporting one another and gaining some fantastic tournament experience.

A huge thank you as well to all the parents, families, coaches and club members who came along to watch and support throughout the week. Seeing so many familiar faces courtside cheering our players on made it even more special! 🙌

We’re also incredibly proud of Billie, Cerys, Freddie G, Hugo B, Mali and Freddie C, who all got out there and represented us brilliantly. 💚🎾

Of course, results are only part of it. What made us proudest was seeing so many of our players competing, enjoying their tennis, battling for every point and supporting their friends and teammates.

For some, it was a chance to test themselves at a higher level; for others, another step in their tournament journey — but every single one should be proud of themselves.

A fantastic week of tennis and a brilliant representation of our coaching programme and club. 💚

🎾 Another 2 FULL HOUSE tennis camps today! 🙌

What a brilliant couple of days on court! It’s been great to see so many children learning new skills, building confidence, making new friends, and most importantly… enjoying their tennis! 💙🎾

There have been plenty of great rallies, fun games, smiles, and lots of progress across both days. Seeing so many young players having a great time is what it’s all about.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the camps such a success. We can’t wait to see you all again soon!

What an incredible turnout today – the courts were buzzing with energy from start to finish! 🤩

There were loads of smiles, plenty of laughs, and some fantastic tennis on display. It was brilliant to see everyone getting stuck in, building confidence, learning new skills, and having so much fun with friends old and new.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a memorable day. We love seeing our Holiday Club packed with enthusiastic players, and we can’t wait to do it all again!

What a fantastic day on court! The sun was shining, the atmosphere was buzzing, and our young players were simply amazing. It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm, determination, and brilliant tennis from all of our little superstars. ⭐🎾

A huge thank you to all the parents for your fantastic support and encouragement throughout the event. Your cheers from the sidelines make such a difference and help create a fun, positive environment for everyone.

Another great session at holiday club today!

The players worked hard on a range of drills to develop their skills before putting them into practice with plenty of fun games and match play.

It was great to see everyone growing in confidence, improving throughout the session, and getting to know each other along the way.

☀️ What a fantastic day at Cary Park Tennis Club yesterday! 🎾

Yesterday’s event was the club’s Open Day, and a special celebration of 25 years of junior tennis at Cary Park – a fantastic milestone recognising the incredible journey of junior tennis at the club.

We were treated to glorious sunshine, and it was wonderful to see so many people at the club enjoying a great afternoon of tennis. We were also delighted to welcome the Mayor, whose attendance made the occasion even more special.

The exhibition match certainly didn’t disappoint, going all the way to a thrilling third set and keeping everyone on the edge of their seats. 👏

Our junior coaching showcase was a real highlight of the day, with the children putting on an outstanding display in front of a fantastic crowd. They should all be incredibly proud of themselves.

The ball machine challenge was a huge hit with players of all ages, and the fun doubles tournament was the perfect way to round off a brilliant day, with plenty of smiles, laughter and great tennis.

A very special thank you goes to our dedicated committee members and the many volunteers who gave up so much of their time in the weeks leading up to the event and worked tirelessly throughout the day. Events like this simply wouldn’t be possible without your hard work, commitment and enthusiasm, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you did.

Finally, thank you to everyone who came along, whether you played, watched or supported the club. Seeing so many members, families, friends and visitors enjoying the day together is what makes this club so special ☀️🎾
