Four TAAC adult athletes took part in the Westward Leagueβs cross country at Plymouth Central Parktoday. This was the fifth and penultimate XC event of the season. The recent rain made sure that there was plenty of mud for us to enjoy (!) and battle through, Pete popped his xc cherry and Kevin nearly went the wrong way right before the finish funnel! A big thank you to the weather for not raining on us whilst we ran π
Final results to be confirmed, the following are from Strava:
Nadine 35m29s
Kevin 40m28s
Anthony 45m25s
Peter 48m31s

Three of our members travelled to North Devon this weekend to take part in the Falklands Challenge on the anniversary of the end of the Falklands conflict. This was not a race but an opportunity to represent Torbay Athletic in remembering the veterans involved. Starting in Instow with a spot of Zumba, followed by a 10 mile run, walk or yomp, along the Tarka Trail. Well done everyone!
