Trowbridge Sports Centre offers a huge range of activities to cater for the health and wellbeing needs of the whole community offering memberships and pay & play options. We have a main pool, 1m 3m and 5m diving boards, 5 court main hall, 2 squash courts, workout studio, function rooms, gymnastics and trampoline hall. Want something fun to do after school? Join our FREE Doorstep Sport and Us Girls sessions, where you can get active, try new activities, make new friends, and build confidence in a fun, welcoming environment.

🌟 Meet the Team: Tobias 🌟

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Tobias, who will soon be starting with us as a Lifeguard! 🏊‍♂️

Tobias is currently a student and, when he's not studying, you'll usually find him at the gym, climbing, spending time with friends, or relaxing after a busy day. His passion for staying active makes him a great fit for our leisure team.

⛰️ Fun Fact: Tobias can solve a Rubik's Cube in under a minute!

When it comes to hobbies, climbing and bouldering are at the top of his list. He also enjoys swimming and even counts climbing Ben Nevis among his proudest achievements, despite having to sleep in a car afterwards!

☕ Coffee or Tea? Coffee, every time.

🍽️ Favourite Food: Lasagne. If he could only eat one meal forever, that would be it!

📺 Favourite TV Series: The Office (US version).

💪 Favourite Exercise: Pull-ups.

🏃 Top Fitness Tip: "Do a little exercise every day, even if it's only a small amount."

💧 Healthy Habit Recommendation: "Drink more water. It's one of the easiest changes you can make for your health."

At the centre, Tobias is particularly looking forward to getting to know the team and becoming part of our friendly community. His favourite area is the squash courts, as they give him the opportunity to play a sport he enjoys and can't easily play elsewhere.

When asked what makes our community special, Tobias said:

"Everyone is really welcoming when you first meet them."

And his message to anyone considering joining us?

"Being part of the community makes keeping active and staying fit more fun and less of a chore."

We're excited to have Tobias joining the team and look forward to seeing him around the centre. Be sure to say hello and give him a warm welcome when you see him! 👋

🚨 POOL CLOSURE UPDATE 🚨

Unfortunately the swimming pool will remain closed for the rest of today (Friday 25th September).

As a result, all swimming sessions are cancelled, including: 🏊 Public swimming sessions
🏊‍♀️ Swimming lessons
🏊 Swimming club sessions

We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding while the issue is resolved.

✅ The pool will reopen tomorrow morning and all sessions will resume as normal.
