Trooper is now 3 years old and doing some very basic kindergarten. More growing to do but looking rather handsome 😍

On this very hot weekend, Gunner 🐴 has been to his first clinic, staying away for 3 days. And he was perfect beyond my wildest dreams ⭐️

It was a Ride With Your Mind weekend of learning with Mary Wanless and others at Potten Farm Equestrian. A fab bunch and so much learning despite the extreme temperatures.

He settled in his little grass pen and in the arena with horses to look at in every direction 👀 In his lessons he was perfectly calm and willing at all times.

He loaded nicely but was a little concerned about leaving the venue, quickly settling in the lorry and barely raised a sweat on the journey home.

Of course I left with loads of new input from Mary and even more ideas to pass on to clients 🤓

3rd/5th July Camp. Kim Bergin Alexander Technique + Jo Szegota RWYM Biomechanics Coach & Simulator

So Thursday was one of those days… out for a nice ride and lead from the 🚛 with Teller (20) and baby Trooper (turned 3 last week). And two dogs 🐶

Came home down the quietest of lanes with very few passing places. Suddenly lines of cars from either direction. And huge tractors and bin trailers. The main road had been shut and drivers were taking a scenic detour!

This was a real test for all four animals but pleased that they were all impeccably behaved. The training stuck 👏

Almost back to the lorry and we meet the crop spraying right alongside the bridleway! 🎥

Keeping up with the blondes of yesterday… today was team yellow 👏

Today was Gunner’s turn to go out 🚛, park in a new place and our first ride out with another horse.l.

Thanks again for Daisy Ashley and Dante for, well following more than leading us around. G as brave and bold as always!

We had a great day with Kim Bergin: Alexander Technique on Friday, she particularly enjoyed teaching on my new toy, the Home Horse.

Very pleased to announce that she will be back for a joint clinic on July 3/4th with ridden spaces available… more details coming soon but let me know if you’re interested.

A very blonde adventure this morning. Teller and Trooper went out in 🚛, parked in a new place, and went for a hack with another blonde horse. Trooper’s first taste of company. All calm (apart from passing the donkey!) and enjoyed each other’s company 🧡

Thanks to Daisy Ashley and Dante for accompanying us 🐴

More videos in first comment 😀

This is a great list for keeping the oldies comfortable… I know how much our 31yo struggled in his last few years.

I would also add the use of a soft pad to stand on (SURE FOOT Equine) or similar can really help them.
