Here is the Baroque Dennis talked about last week. This is a 1” forward flap version that was needed to accommodate the lady’s long upper leg but a 15” length flap for her lower leg which was slightly shorter and has our short Excellence block set at an angle.
This is a very comfortable and balanced configuration for people who camt have any strain put on their hips for one reason or another…….Notice how there is no excess foam in the seat and how in the area of the inner thigh everything just falls away. This again allows the rider to ride in a safe, balanced and comfortable seat.
This saddle had only been tried for 15 mins but already it just looks like it belongs to this horse.
The forward flap is just for the rider and in no way effects where the points are, the points are set slightly back and are flexible so the horse’s shoulder can move without impingement.
It was a pleasure to fit this beautiful saddle today and as always the workmanship from Glen and the team was/is truly stunning. 🤩

Our super ultra soft boomerang girth. The Ryder boomerang girth is just so stunning. Beautifully made at our factory in Walsall using only the best leather from France - Tannerie Remy Carriat and hardware from Abbey England as well as British made webb in the straps.
This girth is made using our Sangria Makilla which is an incredibly soft but still hard wearing hide and is a great solution for horses with a forward girth groove. (I use it on my own horses and they are not grumpy at all when I girth up compared to other shaped girths so I think they do like the way it tapers in and contours around them)

The Ryder Molineaux jump saddle with our comfort flap. This is a mid to deep seat with a square cantle and our comfort flap which is designed for amateur and fun riders who want to do a bit of everything.
As always beautifully made with only the finest ingredients! This saddle is dark brown elephant print on the skirt and flaps and our super grippy stay in the plate at all costs seat and pad calf leather.

An absolutely beautiful picture of one of our supported riders Tabitha Leicester competing in a PSG last weekend.
Tabitha is a full time student studying horse veterinary physio at Writtle college and hopefully may even join us a saddle fitter one day.
Tabitha rides in a standard dual flap Baroque as she likes to have the additional webs for extra girthing options as her horse has progressed and developed top line and muscle.

Wonder if the the Ryder standard jump flap is for you? …This is our standard flap (so not as forward as the sports flap) on a prototype Chevalier.
