Another great shift from Ellis with endless running and work ethic. We defend from the front with the way we play and Ellis is at the point of that and very effective with it, well done....and to finish the day with 4 goals and 3 assists is just remarkable 👏🏻👏🏻
*Pelsall Villa Colts Vipers 6 v 1 Brewood Juniors Colts*
First game back after what felt an eternity but it was good to be back. We started against Brewood, a very good side that compete for everything in WJYL U10s but the football was breathtaking as we started on the front for and wrapped up a convincing 6-1 win. So many great performances all round as we played like a team that hadn't just come back from a long break.

Hayden and Eddie had to leg it and missed this match for a boring 0-0 at the molineux 🙈🤣 Should have stayed with the Vipers.
First half was a bit passive without being threatened, there were a few chances squandered, 1 cleared off the line so at half time we regrouped and focused the attention on what worked well in the first game and then we came out flying for the second half and managed to come out 6-0 winners with a great half of football. Again the passing, moving and relentless pressure just dominates all the time. Well done Vipers!

No football for the Vipers today but had lots of fun at Ninja warrior instead ❤️🖤
It wasn't the result we wanted today for the Vipers. But we are all so incredibly proud of them getting to the final in GROUP A.
Unfortunately Willenhall made it 5-4 in the last 30 seconds of the game but we learn and we go again. Also a huge well done to them making the final with NO keeper and at times no subs. Thank you to all the players that have taken it in turns and stepped up in goal. What a team we are ❤️🖤

12th October 2025
PVC Vipers 0-0 NPV Acadmey (Trophy RD2)
*Vipers win 3-1 on penalties
A really tough match against 1 of the best teams Vipers had faced this season. Squad lists had to be checked because NPV were huge but it was all fair. Chances were limited for both teams as the battle in the middle continued when disaster struck and a penalty was awarded to NPV for a foul in the box. It felt like 1 goal could win it and Vipers having no recognised GK were rotating outfield players all season with Hayden currently in goal. Hayden moved over to the right of the goal leaving a big gap to the left the striker took the bait and Hayden quickly adjusted to save the ball with his feet, his dad will take full credit for teaching him that though 🤣 HT 0-0. Second half was more of the same with 2 really good teams going at it and as the time ticked on neither team wanted to make a mistake and then the dreaded penalties. Hayden, Teddy and Franceska managed to put all 3 penalties away emphatically into the corners with Hayden back in goal following his earlier penalty save it felt like he had the edge in this situation, unfortunately for NPV they missed 1 putting Vipers through to the quarter final. Great team performance, clean sheets in both halves for stand in goal keepers Hayden and Sharpie and now on to the QF to face T2 Ballers.
PVC Vipers 5-4 T2 Ballers (trophy QF)
Unfortunately Falcons were knocked out by T2 Ballers setting up a very difficult QF here with 1 of the trophy favourites in T2. Vipers wanted to settle the score for knocking Falcons out but T2 are a very good MJPL team on Saturdays as Bustleholme MJPL but they must have been wondering what had happened though. Vipers buoyed by reaching the QF went for the kill early in a fast paced game focused on high intense pressing giving T2 no chance to breathe at all. Hayden managed to open the scoring winning the ball back high up the pitch with the press and beating the keeper before quickly turning provider for Sharpie with a diagonal ball to the left and Sharpie slotting home. Vipers were pegged back as T2 managed to react quickest to force the ball over the line after a scramble in the box. The 2 goal cushion was restored before the break as Frankie managed to backheel the corner in for 3-1. It's becoming a bit of a trade mark finish now that backheel HT 3-1. It was all Vipers and they just looked unstoppable even after the restart 3 became 4 as Ellis played Frankie in for his second 4-1. T2 grabbed their 2nd after a mix up at the back 4-2 but Vipers went straight back up the other end when Hayden was awarded too much time on the ball to pick out Ellis to finish and make it 5-2. At this point with just over 5 minutes left we should have seen the game out comfortably as T2 threw everything at us pushing 3 up top which caught us out twice as they pulled back to 5-4 forcing a very nervy 3 minutes but Vipers calmed down and managed the final 3 minutes to see out the game in a really entertaining finish.

5th October 2025
PVC Vipers 2-1 Ace Madrid (friendly)
Pelsall were without any subs today and the early start we knew it would take a big effort. It was Pelsall that started brightly as Hayden picked up the ball midway into the Ace half and hit a rocket into the top corner. 5 minutes later it was 2 as Fran played in to Ellis to beat a defender and slot home. Pelsall looked like they were going to explode into full flow but the whistle went HT 2-0. After the break Ace managed to get a bit of a foothold in the game and stopped the Vipers from running away with it. Both teams really struggled to break each other down but Ace did pull 1 back as a ball played through found the striker on his own to put into the corner. Vipers managed to hold on to see it out but it felt like there was a lot more to come with a couple of gears to go but in fairness they had raised the bar really high in the last few weeks.

PVC Vipers 3-0 PVC Falcons (trophy)
Derby Day and it was Vipers V Falcons who had never met in the league or Cup before. You could feel the tension and both teams struggled to make either side pay, the stakes were high as seeding for the knockouts was on the line. Vipers took the lead though when Fran found Ellis just like in the first game to put away a tidy finish HT 1-0. Both teams went for it after the break and Vipers managed to strike Ellis found Frankie on the right who hit it across the keeper into the far corner. Frankie then ran down the right before he crossed the ball, the keeper could only push away the ball into the oncoming defender as it bounced off the defender and in for 3-0. Nothing the defender could do there FT 3-0.

Player of the match went to the T.E.A.M today because whilst it's wasn't quite clicking, with no subs, we dug deep and found a way to win 2 tough games 🏆
And that's the Vipers through to the semi finals! Please no more nail biting penalties next week.
Well done to every single one of you today! Very proud ❤️🖤
⚽️MATCH REPORT⚽️
28th September
Following the first 3 weeks the fixtures were released on Tuesday seeding the Vipers in the top division and a trip back to Oak Park for the Trophy Event. This time the early slot, kicking off at 08:30 and familiar faces with the Wyrley team from the week prior that beat us 1-0. There's a score to settle there because we know we can play better.
Game 1 - Trophy
Pelsall Villa Colts 4-0 Sporting Khalsa
We challenged the players to play together, as a team and they delivered. It was a great display from everybody causing so many problems for the Khalsa defence. Frankie opened the scoring following a pass through from Ellis, they were linking up well and quickly after Ellis was bought down and stepped up to take the penalty for 2-0. Half time Hayden and Ellis swapped position as Ellis went in goal and Hayden came out to go up front and it was more of the same from the team as Sharpie managed to win a goalmouth scramble to fire home then Jaxson played Hayden in for 4-0.

Game 2 - Trophy
Pelsall Villa Colts 5-3 Wyrley Warriors
A repeat of last week's fixture and a score to settle. We really got the vipers fired up for this one, ramping up the intensity from the first whistle. There must only have been a minute on the clock when Hayden whipped in a dangerous corner that Frankie managed to jump and audaciously back heel home for 1-0. Great goal and creativity to try that. A few minutes later, another corner whipped in again by Hayden and the Wyrley player tried to volley clear but it went straight into the net. Pelsall 2 up and looking comfortable. Wyrley were now having a spell and pelsall on 2 occasions switched off allowing the shot to come in. Teddy made some good saves but couldn't do anything for the 2 goals. Wyrley were level from nowhere and now this would be a big test for pelsall. Could they lift their head and go again? Yes they could, the Wyrley GK cleared the ball from a back pass towards the half way line and Hayden watched it all the way hitting it first time all the way back and it flew past the goalkeeper into the net with no chance of stopping it, 3-2 and a strike that you just knew was in from the moment he hit it, pelsall lead at the break.
After half time the vipers were straight out at them giving them no time whatsoever on the ball. Fran was bossing it in the middle when the ball fell to Ellis who jinked past 2 defenders and then past the GK to slot home into an empty net with a great solo goal 4-2. Sharpie was now in goal and Wyrley were throwing everything to pull it back they finally got 1 after a bit of a scramble in the box, 4-3, tense finish to the game was due and Wyrley still pushing but a worldy save from Sharpie kept the Vipers in front before Hayden found himself in on goal to beat the keeper and start the celebrations, 5-3 and a great team performance to cap off another great day. Player of the day went to Franceska with opposition coaches again being very complimentary of how good she is, picking her out as a key player. She's been unlucky each week not to win it, she really has added consistency.

⚽️MATCH REPORT⚽️
21st Sept 2025
Game 1
Pelsall Villa Colts 0-1 Wyrley Warriors
Back to Bilston on the big pitches and Pelsall tasted defeat for the first time this season against a good Wyrley team. Overall it was a close match with the game settled in the first half when we got beat down our wing and the Wyrley player got a low shot into the corner. We never really got going in the first half and Wyrley deservedly led at the break. Much better in the second half we took the game to Wyrley but whilst we huffed and puffed we just couldn't force the goal.
Game 2
-Pelsall Villa Vipers 6-0 Willenhall Red Devils
Following the below par 1st half in the Wyrley game we challenged the players for a quick start and in fairness it was all one way traffic. The Willenhall keeper made some fantastic saves to keep the score at what it was and I think if the goals didn't have a big dip in the crossbar we could have added another couple. We saw a hat trick of assists from Frankie with goals from Fran, Sharpie and Teddy and a hat trick from Hayden to take home the match ball. Player of the day went to Teddy who put a shift in against Wyrley in the first game but also dominated in the second game. His decision making was spot on with when to go forward when to drop back and capped off an all round solid performance with a goal.
