Walsall Rugby Club Welcome to the official page for Walsall Rugby Football Club.

Walsall RFC is an amateur club, established in 1922 by a group of 33 enthusiasts who paid 5s a year subscription. In 1931 the club moved to its present location, into an old wartime building which still exists despite three facelifts that have occurred since that time. The Club now runs three senior sides that regularly play on Saturday afternoons, the first team playing in Midlands 1 West. We have an extremely busy Mini and Junior Section that play and train on Sundays from Under 7's - Colts; plus our Baby Bears (Under 6's) who train and learn the game every Sunday.

Can you believe it?! The end of September is very nearly here and that means, there is just one weekend left to take advantage of the subs discount.

Membership subscriptions remains a vital source of income to keep Walsall RFC as it helps run everything we do and off the pitch; insurance, heating, lighting, water, ground maintenance and kit washing...just to name a few!

Club membership forms can be found in the corridor on the way into the clubhouse and payments can also be made across the bar.

▪︎PLAYER SPONSORSHIP: MICHAEL LEWIS FOUNDATION▪︎

We are thrilled to announce that Matt James has been sponsored for the 2026/27 season, and it is to raise awareness of the Michael Lewis Foundation.

The Michael Lewis Foundation was formed in March 2016 in memory of Michael James Lewis, who passed away in November 2015 due to DIB syndrome associated with Type 1 Diabetes.

The foundation aims to utilise technological breakthroughs in Type 1 Diabetes care to minimize the risk of another family suffering the same pain. They plan to fund Continuous Blood Sugar Monitoring and Bluetooth technology that alerts the victim or a family member/friend if the blood sugar readings drop rapidly, potentially saving lives. The foundation’s priority for funding will be those leaving home to go to university.

It's going to be a busy one at the club this Sunday with the majority of our age groups playing matches.

There's nothing better than seeing a busy club on a Sunday morning and we hope lots of you will come down to support our younger playing members.

Due to how busy the club and car park will be, please park considerately of each other, our neighbours and do not block any gates in case of emergency.
