Our gents played another pre-season friendly last night, this time against Edge Hill Uni VC.

It was a well-fought game, with both teams using different styles of play, but Wolves tipped the balance and won 3-0, before clinching both of the bonus sets we played at the end of the game.

Well played to everyone who came along, and congratulations to Tom who was named MVP by Edge Hill🐺

Thanks to Salford Shadows VC for hosting our gents for a friendly today!

Managed to play three solid sets in the two hours, with WWVC winning 2-1.

A tiring game for our stripped-back squad, and the first set going to 31-29 was quite the start to the game!

Well done gents🐺

It's that time of year again where some of our members head across the water to the Isle of Man for the annual international invitational!

Wolves entered one women's team, and one (and a half!) gents teams - and you can see some of them smiling through the aches and pains!

Thanks as usual to Volleyball Isle of Man - VBIOM for hosting us🏐

Our Mixed Team played their final match of the season last night, though sadly couldn't manage the win against a tough MCVC side.

Set 1 was 23-25 and set 3 was 24-26, so it was a game of very tight margins! We played some great volleyball, but sometimes things just don't go your way!

Well done Tom for being named MVP, too👏

A big win for our big GMVA Men's squad last night.

Lots of momentum for the gents against Manchester Marvels, and although there was a close second set (25-23) we managed to pull through and secure the victory.

Lots to improve on, but a win is a win!

Well done Kieran for being named MVP💪

Big 3-0 win for the GMVA Men last night vs Uni of Manchester.

A brilliant game to play, great team spirit, and a really solid drive to pick ourselves up and push forward through mistakes.

Huge thanks to UoM for being such brilliant hosts, and for being such a sporting team to play against.

Well done to Tom for being named MVP by UoM for his "brain on court."

Great way to start the weekend💪
