Meet our Studio Ambassadors 💙
You might recognise these faces around the studio… but what is their role?…
Our Studio Ambassadors are some of our older dancers who have been given the opportunity to lead, support, contribute and grow within our TDSW community.
We created our Ambassador Programme because we believe the studio can be a place where young people develop skills that reach far beyond dance.
Throughout the year, our Ambassadors take part in experiences designed to develop leadership, communication, confidence, teamwork, responsibility, resilience and independence, skills that will benefit them in school, further education, future careers and everyday life.
From First Aid and Business School to wellbeing initiatives, studio projects and opportunities to support our younger dancers, we want to give them real experiences and real responsibility, whilst providing a safe environment in which to learn.
Because yes, we want our dancers to become technically strong, confident performers.
But we also want them to become confident young adults who know how to communicate, lead, problem-solve, support others and believe in themselves.
That’s one of the things we love most about dance.
The lessons don’t stop when the music does. ☺️
