We were a grass roots gymnastics club based in Horndean, Hampshire since the 70s. We closed in 2024, but our legacy still lives on.
We are a boys & girls recreational gymnastics club, founded in 1976 by a local teacher, Tom Rundle. From 1983 Tony Smith took over running of the club & greatly developed the boys squad becoming one of the strongest regional teams. Couple who founded Rushmoor Gymnastics Academy appointed MBEs The couple set up the club 50 years ago and say they are "shocked" by the news of their MBEs.
