Hello June! We're open every weekend this month, a great time to visit Cassiobury Park and come for a train ride 🚂

Happy Sunday! It might be the end of the half term but there's plenty of time for a train ride today 🚂 Trains are running 11am-5pm, and our steam engine Bluebell will be joining us this afternoon from around 2pm 💙 Densil and Conway Castle will be in charge until then!

You'll find us back over on Platform 1 today, which is the same side as the playground, as the temperature is going to be bit cooler 😎

Happy Wednesday! We're half way through the May half-term 📆

We thought this was a good opportunity to remind all of our passengers and visitors to please read and respect our safety rules.

You'll find the big red safety signs at the entrance gates and along the platforms. We also have the yellow signs at the ends of all of the coaches!

⚠️ Safety on any railway is incredibly important and the rules are there to keep everyone safe! We are very similar to any big railway, just because our trains are a bit smaller, they are not a toy and it doesn't mean you can't get hurt or have an accident.

So please help make sure everyone is safe by following the safety rules, this includes adults, children and dogs!

Happy Birthday to the Vanstones Woodland Railway!

We popped over this morning to join the celebration of 40 years since the Vanstones Woodland Railway opened. Located at the Vanstones Park Garden Centre near Stevenage, there have been close links between the WMR and VWR since it opened.

Densil says it's going to be hot 🥵 we will be running from the shadier Platform 2 (the same side as the gym area) this weekend and next week too!

If you're visiting Cassiobury Park and the railway during this heatwave please remember to wear a hat, use suncream, drink plenty of water and take breaks in the shade 🧢🚰😎
