Watford Cycle Hub
A community cycle centre that fixes, sells, hires and teaches everything you need to know about cycling.
The Watford Cycle Hub provides lots of bike related support. We offer bike repair services, maintenance courses, cycle training and free guided rides! We also accept your unwanted bikes (the ones that have been cluttering up your garage for years) and recycle them, salvaging what we can. We also sell affordable reconditioned bikes and bike parts.
π Pedal for Pizza is back to round off our Summer of Cycling.
Friday 28 August, 6pm to 8pm at the Hub. An evening of activities and mini races to celebrate a brilliant summer on two wheels, finished off with free pizza for everyone.
It's open to children who already come to our Go-Ride club, anyone who's joined one of our courses over the summer or in recent months, and their family and friends. So if your child has been anywhere near a bike with us lately, they're in.
π² Β£2 to sign up
π Free pizza to finish
π§ Free bike hire if you need it
It's also a relaxed way to see what Go-Ride is actually like if you've been curious. Go-Ride is British Cycling's development programme for clubs and groups working with children and young people, built around fun, safe sessions that introduce them to cycle sport and sharpen up their bike handling. No pressure, no lycra required. Worth mentioning that more than 60% of Great Britain Cycling Team riders started out at a Go-Ride club.
Spaces are limited so please book ahead on our website

Come and join the friendly Breeze ladies for a free, guided ride this Saturday to Leavesden Country Park and back.
Stopping at the Woodlands Cafe for coffee and cake (and possibly again at the Cycle hub when we get back!! ).
Breeze rides are British Cycling supported free, ladies only rides, intended to widen accessibility and familiarity to those who may have fallen out of practice. Led by volunteer leaders who are trained to lead groups and in first aid, they're a great way to get back into cycling in a friendly environment.
We never leave anyone behind, and go at the slowest persons' pace.

Hello π π π
My name is Jack and I am the new manager for the Watford cycle hub.
I have been wrenching away in the cycle industry for the last 8 years. Previously working at Cycles UK in Watford and Giant St. Albans as the workshop manager.
Starting this role is super exciting because of the positive impact the hub has for the local and wider community. Everything from the mini town, learn to ride courses, the cafΓ© and the cycle shop provide such a great asset to Watford. Some would say its Watfordβs hidden treasure.
Cycling is a massive part of my life! Anything from road riding, gravel trips and racing MTB; I love it all. I have visited some amazing places on a bike and I strong believe that cycling is such a great tool for the mind and body. I also like to try the occasional round of golf.
Whether its some advice about your bike or looking for another cycle route in the area or even if you want a friendly conversation; the team and I are here to help!
See you out there on the trails.
