After delays due to rock hard pitches, rugby is finally back for Welshpool, with our first pre-season friendly taking place THIS THURSDAY at 7:30pm! Welshpool face Oswestry RFC at home down the ‘Dre so get down there and help them get back into the swing of it ahead of the 2026/27 season! 💪🏼🏉

🏉👏Congratulations to Will Roberts and Harry Agnew who have been selected for RGC East U16’s. Congratulations, also, to those who were unsuccessful in the process, you've represented the club exceptionally and we are incredibly proud of your efforts.

Will was fortunate enough to be selected for a tournament against Carmarthen, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire, whilst Harry recovers from injury.

Eleven of our U11s attended on Monday and Tuesday. They all thoroughly enjoyed the experience of being coached by international players Andy Powell, Jonathan Thomas, and Lee Jarvis.
It was an unforgettable opportunity for the boys to learn from such experienced players. We hope to return the favour and welcome you to our club for similar next year!🏉
