We are St Matthew's Bowling Club, Billinge Road, Highfield, Wigan.
Our water harvesting/pump and sprinkler system is now tested and working! A massive thanks goes out to our team of volunteers who have spent hours and hours to get this operational. It has been a very long slug but will certainly pay dividend next season and many more into the future!
Prep for 2026 is well under way 👍👏 well done to all our volunteers who are working so hard to get problems resolved and our facilities the best they can be 💪

For the 1st time in over a month the ladies played tonight hosting st Andrews. It was a lovely night to play and coming away with a win by 1 point 134 to St matthews 133 to St Andrews

Tonight St Matthews C played host to St Paul's B. A lovely evening and some good bowling. Unfortunately we lost with only 3 winners. Well done to everyone

B & C team played each other last night. There was some close games, with B team winning overall. A enjoyable night of bowling
The ladies team had a half match this afternoon (only 4 played) against last season league winners. We had 2 winners. Brilliant effort well done ladies

Coming to the end of the season for the ladies team with 2 more games to play. We played St Aidens last night and had a great win. Winning by 35 points with 6 ladies winning their games
