A great first run-out for the squad yesterday as we took the win against Rugeley RUFC! 🔴⚫

Our first game together as a squad in a pre-season friendly, with plenty of fresh faces stepping onto the pitch, and the lads showed exactly what all the hard work throughout pre-season has been building towards. 💪

Well-worked moves from the backs, solid defence and plenty of commitment across the pitch made for a strong performance from the boys.

A great starting point as we continue to build towards the season ahead. 👊

🧠 QUIZ NIGHT THROWBACK!🔴⚫

Last Friday, Essington RUFC was packed out for a brilliant night of trivia, competition and community spirit! 🍻🏉

With 15 teams battling it out, it was a fantastic evening — and, most importantly, one that gave back to our local community.

💰 The night raised money for Friends of Essington, while we also received some incredibly generous donations for the local food bank. A huge thank you to everyone who donated, took part and helped make the evening such a success. ❤️
