I’m Chrissie from CG Yoga. I’m delighted to offer a range of welcoming yoga classes and relaxing sound baths locally in Rushwick.

When your warm-up is actually the Macarena 🧘‍♀️💃

This morning I led my wonderful students through a gentle yoga warm-up as part of our integration…

Embellished, disguised and sprinkled with a little yoga magic - I was sure they were going to twig at any moment!

But they played along beautifully… and the laughter at the end was absolutely priceless. ❤️

Thank you to everyone at St John’s Sports Centre for being such good sports. You made my morning! 🥰

Who knew the Macarena could be such a good yoga warm-up?! 😂

Had to practice some pranayama while watching these numbers rise this morning… 🧘‍♀️😂

✨ New sounds have arrived! ✨

Yesterday I welcomed a beautiful new Chau Gong (and a Wind Gong!) into my sound meditation family, and I’m SO excited to start incorporating them into my upcoming sound baths. 💖

There’s something incredibly special about the deep, rich vibration of a gong - you don’t just hear it, you really feel it. 🌿✨

Clearly Molly approves… 🐾😂💫
Her little spinning celebration in the background sums up how excited I am too!

I can’t wait to explore all the layers, textures and vibrations these beautiful instruments will bring to our sound baths. 🌙🎶

Make a ‘Meditation Chain’ with us 🌈🌬️

🌈🧘‍♀️✨ Make your own Meditation Chain! ✨🧘‍♀️🌈

Eva and I have been making these simple little Meditation Chains together, and we’ll be making them in our Kids Yoga classes this week too! 💕

They’re super easy, fun to make and a lovely tool for helping children practise mindful breathing.

You will need:
🧵 String (approx. 45cm)
🔘A keyring loop
🌈Around 6 pony beads

Once you’ve made your chain, move the beads up and down one at a time while taking slow, deep, purposeful breaths. 🌬️

It’s a lovely way to encourage children to slow down, focus on their breathing and bring a little calm into their day.

And the best bit? You can take your Meditation Chain anywhere! 🎒💫
