We will be open every Wednesday throughout the year (except Christmas week when we will be open on Friday Dec 27th)

Fridays 10.00 – 4.00
New for 2013 we will be open on Fridays, starting on April 5th; as soon as the clocks change; through to Oct 25th, when the clocks change back to winter time. I know that many of you who would like to shoot during the week finish work early on a Friday, so this is an opportunity for you to come along. Friday morning would also be a great opportunity for anyone who would like to entertain business associates or clients as it won’t disrupt the flow of the week’s schedules. We can supply instructors and all the equipment for you to entertain a small group of colleagues to an excellent mornings sport without it costing you the earth. Give me a call for more details. Friday 100 Series Competition

Becky will also be running a 100 bird qualifying competition on each Friday, culminating in a Grand Final for the winners on Friday Oct 25th. The High Gun from each qualifying Friday will go forward to a free entry in the Grand Final. £3.00 from each entry will be added to the prize fund which could develop into quite a sizable sum. For any of you with your own guns we will be open for practice on all these days – just turn up and shoot. Membership

If you don’t have your own gun or you need a little help to improve your shooting then there will be tuition available on all the above days – but you will need to book beforehand. With the extensive range of traps, high towers and the novice tuition field it has been difficult at times fitting in everyone wanting tuition. Opening on Friday’s will give us many more hours of available tuition time. Corporate and Private Parties

As we are going to be open to everyone more often there won’t be any spare days for exclusive private parties, however we are happy to arrange for groups of friends of clients to be taken round on either Wednesdays or Fridays or use the tuition field on Sunday’s, with an instructor. I am anticipating that this facility will become popular as the group sizes can be as small as you like and the cost will be very sensible. As many people finish work early on a Friday this will give them an opportunity to arrange to shoot in the afternoon. Gift Vouchers
Clay shooting gift vouchers have become a very popular way of solving that challenging present for someone who has everything. We have had many people take up the sport once they have been introduced through a kind person giving them a gift voucher. I can personalise and customise them to exactly what you want to give someone but the most popular remains the one hour tuition voucher. Cartridges
It has been a long time coming but eventually I have been able create a fall out area free from cattle, so from now on I am happy for you to use plastic wad cartridges. We will be stocking a wide range of Gamebore and Fiocchi in both plastic and fibre wad at very competitive prices. As soon as I have decided on which range of cartridges from each manufacturer to stock I will send out a price list. In the mean time, if you have any special requests or larger orders just give me a call.

As in previous years I will be sending out regular news e-mails to keep you up to date with what is going on at the shooting groundIf you have any shooting friends, corporate clients or any one interested in receiving information about the ground then please feel free to forward this e-mail to them. I may have inadvertently placed you on more than one of my lists – so if you get multiple copies please let me know and I will search out the duplication. If I knew how to use the computer better I could probably work out how to get it to do it for me – but life is too short!! Rest assured any e-mail addresses will not be passed on to a third party.
