York and District riding club was founded in 1968. We are affiliated to the British Horse Society, and we are in Area 4. Lessons are for members only.
We have a club field on Corban Lane, near Wigginton (5 minutes from York ring road). There is a 20 x 40 m rubber surfaced arena and also a rotavated summer surface. There is plenty of parking (including some hard standing) and a club house with facilities. Lessons are run at the club on weekends throughout the year. Evening lessons are run there in the summer months. In the winter we hire indoor a

Afternoon lessons before the clear round starting at 6pm
Perhaps come and have a lesson and then stay and practice over the clear round course
Group sessions Minimum 2 maximum of 3 per group
Members group session - £ 20 per person
Non-members group session - £25 per person
Mike is a BHS Stage 3 Coach who has many years experience teaching riders of all ages and abilities to have fun and ride in harmony with their horse, allowing both to grow in confidence and ability.
