Race Schedule

EVENT 1- 1mile
York 3yo Championships

This event is a stakes race, only horses who are up to date with the stakes payments may enter to race.

Any 3yo not already eligible may supplement up until Sunday night for £1000.

This race will be 1 race if 10 or less declare. If 11 or more declare the race will consist of heats and a final.

The races will be split and/or drawn ON THE DAY

COLTS & FILLIES events are separate and will NOT be mixed.

EVENT 2- 1mile
Maiden, Novice & Ratings Races
Entry Fee- £50

These races will kept separate where possible but may be combined where necessary to split for owners and trainers.

Ratings races preferred but any race will switch to a handicap if more than 30 points spread in the handicap.

EVENT 3- 1mile
PERMIT RACE

Handicap race for horses with at LEAST one lifetime win.

Horses must be and have been trained under a permit licence all of the 2026 season.

Entry Fee- £50
Minimum 8 entries.

EVENT 4 - 1 Mile
Non Winners Race for horses who havent won in their last 6 starts
Handicap race for horses rated 28 and above
Handicap 10 points = 10yards
Entry Fee- £50
Minimum 8 Entries

"The winner of EVENT 4 qualifies for half penalty within the handicap system"

**Please note horses may enter to race twice across events 2, 3 or 4 if they are eligible and fit the criteria to do so**

Event 5- Workouts & Qualifiers
Entry Fee- £35

Event 6- PONY EXHIBITION, all ponies must be flu vaccinated.

Entries close for all events on Sunday 14th June at 23.59pm

Stables are available for tomorrow at York. Please pre book these with Dawn on 07885654536

Also sponsorship naming rights to races are available for as little as £50. As well as naming rights this will also include presenting the winners of the race and if required an advert in the programme. Please contact Charles Allan Inglis or Dawn for more information regarding this and for further details about various sponsorship packages.

Qualifiers & Workouts of which there is 10 in total including 4 full 2yo qualifying events. These will start at 11am Prompt.

This will be followed by a 8 racecard which commences at 2pm.

There will be warming up before racing after qualifier 10 and also between races 3 and 4.

The pony exhibition will be after race 5.

A great day is in store. One not to be missed.

This meeting will feature the first PONY EXHIBITION for the kids this season. Please be in touch to book your kids and their ponies.

Race Schedule

EVENT 1- Maiden,Novice & Ratings Races
Entry Fee- £50

Ratings races will be preferred if the handicap spread is 30 points or less
They shall switch to a handicap 10 points=10 yards if there is more than 30 points between the ratings of the lowest and highest horse in a race.

EVENT 2- Non Winners Last 6 starts
Handicap 10 points = 10 yards

Minimum 8 entries for horses rated 28 and above
Entry Fee- £50

"This race fits the criteria for a 50% handicap reduction for the winner within the handicap system"

Event 3 may start as early as 11am depending how many there is to allow adequate time for the pony exhibition and warming up before the racing.
