Just over a week to go folks till the final event of the year at Melbourne! The Fireworks Frenzy!!!

Yes we have fireworks, yes Julian is here with the Split Second Jet Car! Yes we have the championship deciders for our Melbourne car and bike classes but more than any of that we have Trevor and Barbara’s birthday celebrations!!!! Barbara is 80 and Trevor is 82 in and around the weekend as well as their 60th wedding anniversary!!!

So come early from 6pm ish Friday night we are having a party in the clubhouse to celebrate these amazing milestones!!!!! Come and join us for a great night with some great people!!!!

Remember folks, don’t tuck those lovely cars away too quickly. Fireworks Frenzy 3/4th October is almost upon us. And beyond The Fireworks, the Force of Nature Steam Rocket Bike, the Spider-Man Jet car etc etc.

Hollie Rae Chandler and our good buddies at American Super Stock are hosting the Bracket Gamblers Bracket Shootout. It would be great to see as many as possible to help get this idea off the ground and established. Really cool good fun competitive way to end the season.

You can just enter as RWYB (unless you want to run in 660 of course) then on the Sunday bring 20 of your finest English pounds, give it to Hollie and the winner takes all.

It’s a long old winter so get yourself to the track while you still can!!!!!!

🚗🏍️National Street Car Challenge and our bracket classes 660 and No Mercy are lining up for their championship deciders!! Our Jnr series are fighting it out for the last time this year!!!!

🇺🇸🇬🇧💷American Super Stock have finished their championship but they have their annual Bracket Gamblers event;- a run what ya brung opportunity for any car and bike. Just put down £20 and enter you car! Winner takes all!!!

DON’T FORGET: we always have plenty of just for fun Run What Ya B**g Spots available for both cars and bikes if you just want to come and get your vehicle on the strip for a bit of fun or to test it out without any competition involved. Just book a RWYB slot on the website or even just turn up on the day and bring along your driving/riders license and ideally a helmet although these can be provided if you need one.

The final round at Melbourne Raceway in October will be a double championship points round for the Melbourne Championship.

Six Sixty cars called off their eliminations so those competitors will be awarded 4 points for the event. We will run the eliminations for Junior Sprint Car and Pro Comp at Melbourne Raceway on Saturday 3rd October.

Massive congratulations to Glynn Dunford on winning the American Super Stock 2026 championship!!!!

Brilliant racing for the final round of what is an amazing bracket class at Melbourne. American Super Stock this weekend worked fabulously with their cousins over at Nostalgia Super Stock!!!!!

A big well done to Karl Kenyon for taking the round 10 A/SS win just pipping the mighty Dave Billadeau coming in as runner up and of course our number 1 qualifier and now 2026 champion Glynn Dunford!

Nostalgia Super Stock were amazing guests as well. Absolute privilege to be able to host them at Melbourne this weekend!!!! Really
Hope they come back later least once next year, hopefully see them a couple of times!

Chris Goodale was no.1 with a perfect 6.700 on a 6.70 dial pipping Rebecca Elliot and Karl Kenyon that were only .003 off their dials!!!

Amazing racing ensued, I won’t list it all here, Niamh on the Nostalgia Super Stock page has already given an amazing run down of proceedings that I couldn’t even begin to beat so go over and read her report but the highlight was that the A/SS champion and No.1 qualifier from Saturday only went and won in N/SS too!!!!

Well Done Glynn Dunford!!!! That man should expect a knighthood in the New Years honours list!!!!!!!

Special shout out to Rebecca Elliot and Niamh Frances Cawthorne and anyone else that has helped along the way for all their organisation and efforts!! Without you these class wouldn’t be what they are!!!

As always amazing drag racing, amazing competition. If you’ve got a big Yank sitting there come and see these people and get involved in one of the best groups in British Drag Racing!!!!!!
