Join our friendly and professional team as an Administrator (Membership) at York Sport (York Commercial Ltd).

🕒 Full-time (Fixed Term): 37 hours per week (Two-week rota including alternating Saturday shifts)
💰 £13.86 per hour (£26,739.97 per year)
📍 Based at York Sport Village / York Sport Centre (University of York campus)

We are looking for an organised and personable Membership Administrator to support the success of York Sport! You will handle effective administration for memberships and sales across York Sport Village and York Sport Centre, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and customer care.

Shift Rota:
Week 1: Mon–Wed (10:00–18:00), Fri (10:00–18:00), Sat (09:00–16:30)
Week 2: Mon–Thu (09:00–17:00), Fri (09:00–16:30)

Key Requirements:
Excellent customer service skills and a strong desire to interact with members and visitors.
High attention to detail and accuracy with administrative tasks.
Proven ability to manage sales and membership administration efficiently.

We're incredibly honored to be hosting Angus Leckonby as part of this new national campaign by Coca-Cola and Special Olympics GB! Angus and his father will be hosting a charity swim for Special Olympics on 13 September at our York Sport Village pool.

Angus is hoping to inspire people with intellectual disabilities to believe in their potential and pursue their dreams.

"People sometimes underestimate what athletes with an intellectual disability can achieve – but I want to show that anything is possible if you believe in yourself and work hard.

"I hope my journey inspires others to give sport a go and have the confidence to chase their dreams."

Pool Schedule Changes 🏊‍♀️
We’re excited to welcome the Tadcaster York Sport Swim Squad Swim Gala to York Sport Village on 5 and 6 September! 🏆

To accommodate the event, please take note of the following changes to our pool timetable:
- Swimming Lessons: Running as normal on Saturday morning.
- Open & Lane Swimming: Closed from Saturday afternoon through all day Sunday.

Following the technical issue today, we can confirm that both the main pool and training pool will reopen tomorrow, Tuesday 25th August.

All scheduled swimming lessons and timetabled sessions will resume as normal.

Please be aware that both our main pool and training pool will be closed starting today (Sunday) from 10AM until further notice due to an unexpected technical issue.

❌ Lessons Cancelled: All swimming lessons scheduled for today, Monday 24 August, are cancelled.

We are incredibly sorry for the inconvenience this causes to your day and your routines. Our team is working hard to get things resolved as quickly as possible!

We are excited to be hosting the 2026 York Triathlon at York Sport Village on 15 and 16 August. To ensure the event runs smoothly, please note that there will be some changes to our facility opening hours. We recommend always checking our timetable pages prior to your visit for the most up-to-date information.

- Pool closed to members and the public all day.
