A really encouraging afternoon for the lads despite a 1-0 defeat away at Wilberfoss.

The result might not have gone our way, but pre-season is about much more than the scoreline.

A special mention to the seven of our talented U19s (aged just 16 & 17) who stepped up and showed exactly what they’re capable of. A brilliant opportunity to gain valuable experience and another reminder of the pathway we’ve got here at Rawcliffe Football Club.

The performance was full of energy, commitment and plenty of encouraging football. On another day we’d have had a couple of goals to show for it.

A great run-out, valuable minutes in the legs and plenty to build on.
