We have known Javier for more than 28 years, since the early days of our own tango journey, when he was already an established professional dancer in Buenos Aires. Throughout the years, we have admired not only his artistry, but also his integrity, generosity, and unwavering commitment to the values that make Argentine Tango a living culture.

We are equally delighted to welcome Patrice, whose artistry and sensitivity have become an essential part of this beautiful partnership.

At Athens Tango Odyssey, we believe that great artists deserve not only our applause, but also the opportunity to be seen, appreciated, and celebrated. Sometimes the most meaningful thing we can do as organizers is to shine a light on those whose work has quietly enriched our community for many years.

Originally from Argentina, Ivon brings the authentic spirit of tango to every dance floor. With years of experience as a dancer, teacher, and tango DJ, she is known for creating warm, elegant, and deeply musical journeys that keep dancers connected until the very last tanda. She has performed and taught internationally and was the winner of the 2012 Tango Acropolis Championship in the Tango Salón category, always sharing her passion for the embrace and the music of Buenos Aires.
