From Greece to Miami in 48 Hours – When Every Minute Matters

When a 190-meter vessel in Miami required an urgent underwater permanent repair, Dynamic Divers answered the call.

During an In-Water Survey (IWS) in the presence of Class Surveyors, corrosion was detected on the rudder blade, requiring immediate engineering evaluation and repair.

Our technical department reacted without delay, preparing a Preliminary Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and the complete repair methodology for rapid Class approval. At the same time, our emergency response team was activated.

Less than 48 hours later, two certified underwater welder-divers (Class A & Class B), accompanied by an experienced Diving Supervisor, had mobilized from Greece to Miami, fully equipped and ready to begin operations.

The repair was executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards. Following completion, the repair was accepted by Class as a Permanent Repair, confirming the quality, precision, and professionalism that define every Dynamic Divers project.

This operation is another example of our commitment to providing rapid worldwide response, advanced underwater engineering solutions, and uncompromising quality—even under the most demanding conditions.
