Race Report - Oulton Park promoted by NG Racing, Saturday 10th October

After being able to run both her own Honda CBR600RR and the Parker R6 Yamaha at the Friday test day, Ciara took the decision to Race the Parker R6. After the last session it was straight to scruitineering and then check the bike in prep for Saturday race day.

Saturday race day and the R6 was changed onto wet set-up and Ciara went out and qualified 16th on the grid. Race 1 and with a drying track it was changed onto dry tyres and with this being her first dry session Ciara finished 15th. Race 2 and with a completely dry circuit Ciara went out and come home a very respectable 12th in class. Every session she dropped her times to 1:54.5 times which is a credit too her as this was a weekend of a lot of firsts, First time at track, first time on the R6 Yamaha, first time on a full blown Supersport machine.

We would like to Thank Gerry Parker of Parker Car Transport Racing LTD for the loan of his Yamaha R6 and NG Racing for making us so welcome over the weekend. Also thanks to all Official's, Marshal's and medics
