Huge congratulations to everyone who took part in and organised the North West Coastal Challenge today - what a brilliant event!

Especially proud of all our MFP members who took it on. Getting from the start line to the finish is a massive achievement. Well done, everyone! 👏

Good to catch up with my old Dublin City University (DCU) mate Alan Dunne too. Great to see him doing so well in his career, and some performance today taking first place in the challenge! 👏

Huge congratulations to Bernard Doherty on a brilliant Half Marathon performance! 👏🏃‍♂️

Bernard knocked an incredible 17 minutes off his PB, finishing in 1:41:00. A fantastic achievement and a reflection of the work he consistently puts in.

Bernard joined our MFP Men’s Strength Class in February of this year, and since then he has shown himself to be someone who is extremely consistent and disciplined, and who is always looking to push his own capabilities.

Just as importantly, Bernard brings great energy to every session and has a positive effect on everyone training around him.

We are very thankful to have him as part of MFP.

Congratulations Bernard - thoroughly deserved! 👏💪

After four seasons with the Donegal Senior Footballers, I have made the decision to finish up in my role as Head of Performance.

It has been one of the biggest honours and privileges of my life to work with this team of players and support staff. I am incredibly grateful to have been part of this group and to have shared so many special moments throughout their journey over the past four years.

I am proud of the Athletic Performance & Medical Framework we built over the past four seasons. I am hugely thankful to the support staff I had the privilege of working alongside, as well as the wider network of practitioners and experts we developed relationships with across athletic performance, rehabilitation and sports medicine. Those connections allowed us to continually challenge ourselves, learn and strive to provide the best possible support to our players.

I wish the players, management and everyone involved with Donegal GAA every success for the future. I leave with great pride in what we built together, and with immense gratitude for the people and experiences that made the past four years so special.
