🌊 Irish Open Water National Championships

Well done to our Coolmine SC swimmers who competed in Lough Key today.

Our Age Group National Finalists played a huge part in helping us secure the Top Club Quality Award at the 2026 Irish Age Group National Championships.
A few of our Age Groupers (Devin, George & Amy) were on hand this week to proudly collect the plaque on behalf of the club.

A fantastic achievement that reflects the hard work and commitment from our Swimmers & Coaches.

🏆 Top Club Quality Award Winners - 2026 Irish Age Group National Championships

We’re incredibly proud of our Age Group National Finalists who helped Coolmine SC achieved Top Club Quality Award at the 2026 Irish Age Group National Championships.

the Top Club Quality Award celebrates the highest average points scored per swimmer. It recognises quality over quantity, rewarding clubs whose athletes consistently perform at the highest level.
This award is a reflection of every swimmer who qualified, raced with courage, reached finals, won medals, achieved personal bests, and scored valuable points for the team.
To come away as the highest-performing club per athlete is an achievement we’re incredibly proud of.

🌊 96th Dun Laoghaire Harbour Swim

Congratulations to our Senior Squad swimmers who took their swimming from the pool and into the open water at the Swim Ireland 96th Dublin Harbour Swim!
🏆 Rachel Giles recorded the fastest wetsuit swim time
⚡️ Maia O’Loughlin Brophy finished with the second-fastest female time overall.
A fantastic achievement from both swimmers and a brilliant example of bringing the hard work done in the pool into a whole new environment.
