On All-Ireland football final weekend, we are delighted to welcome Kerry great Mickey Ned O’Sullivan to host a Bord Gáis Energy Legends Tour at Croke Park.
The Kenmare man is one of the most well-known footballers ever to wear the Kerry jersey. He played for his county for ten consecutive years from 1971 to 1980.
He captained the Kingdom to All-Ireland success in 1975 and was also on the panel for the county’s championship wins in 1978 and 1980. Unfortunately, Mickey Ned is the only All-Ireland winning captain not to collect the Sam Maguire as he was knocked unconscious in the first half of the final against Dublin.
O’Sullivan won three National League medals with Kerry and five Munster titles. He claimed three intermediate county championship medals with Kenmare as well as two county championships with the Kenmare District side.
Mickey Ned was awarded an All-Star at wing-forward in 1975. He went on to manage Kerry at minor, U21 and senior levels and took charge of the Limerick senior footballers from 2005 to 2010.

A ‘furry’ exciting experience is returning to the GAA Museum - Teidí Tours will take place every Friday in July!
Teidí Tours are specially for our younger visitors and each child who visits will make their very own GAA Museum sports bear to take home.
The tour includes a bear making workshop and a family-friendly guided tour of Croke Park 🧸
