Cabinteely GAA welcomes the commencement of planning process by Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council for a shared sports pavilion for Kilbogget Park.
The Kilbogget Park Sports Pavilion, designed by Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council architects, will provide a range of high quality sports facilities for GAA, soccer, rugby and athletics. This project supports national, local and Sport Ireland policies that promote multi-use and greater facility sharing. The existing Kilbogget clubhouses will remain in place, operating as they do currently.
The two-story, universally accessible and energy efficient building will contain multiple changing rooms, referee rooms (male and female), high performance strength and conditioning room and classroom for meetings / video analysis / training. The project also provides for expanded MUGA facilities, skills wall & teen zone and public toilets to serve the wider community. The pavilion will also include a Changing Places toilet that offers larger supported facilities that address the needs of people with complex care needs.
We encourage members to register their support for the project on the Dún Laoghaire Rathdown CitizenSpace consultation website . Following a successful planning process, the project will go forward for funding in the next round of the Large Scale Sports Infrastructure Fund.

Our camogie teams were back in action this weekend, showing great character and resilience in two tough away fixtures.

The U11 girls traveled to take on St. Patrick’s Palmerstown on Saturday. Facing tough opposition with a smaller squad due to other commitments, the girls dug deep and showed fantastic grit. They even contended with a downpour toward the end of the match without losing focus.
The team should be very proud of the determination they displayed, and they certainly earned their treats on the way home. We look forward to seeing everyone back at training this Wednesday to review the game.
**U13s**
The U13s played away against Shankill today in what was a significant milestone for the group. It was their first time competing on a full-sized pitch and their first encounter with a team at this competitive level.
While Shankill proved to be a very strong side, our girls put up a great fight and never gave up. The coaches and parents are incredibly proud of the effort they put in from start to finish. The team is now looking forward to their next home game on Sunday, April 26th. 💙
