A little late posting this one but our U10 boys were hurling in Halo Tiles & Bathrooms Ferns COE on Sunday morning.

Well done to all the boys (and young supporters) who played in Ferns on Sunday. Missing from the photo is Fionn, Aodh and Harry Stephens. The boys played really well in their games against Glynn Barntown, Rathnure & Oulart. It's great to see them improving and competing with the best teams.
👏👏

We held our Kilanerin Ballyfad GAA camp last week which was fully subscribed and it was a huge success. Thank you to all the kids to came along and had so much fun while learning new skills and improving their current skillset.

A successful camp doesn’t just happen it takes a lot of volunteers both before and during the camp and we were overwhelmed by the support we received. Thank you to the coaches who gave their time so generously. We also had plenty of young people joined in to help also and we are very grateful!

The arrival of “Le Creme of Icecream” was definitely a hit on the Friday and not just among the kids! Also, we were delighted to source bags and bottles for each participant.

Well done to our U9 boys who represented the club so proudly at the Carnew U9 Football Tournament today

The boys played some excellent football throughout the group stage, recording impressive victories against HWH-Bunclody (Wexford), Gaultier (Waterford), Arklow Geraldines Ballymoney (Wicklow) and Ballinteer St John's (Dublin).

They then progressed to the semi-final where they faced Graiguecullen (Laois). After a very competitive first half, the boys pulled away to secure a three-point victory in a fantastic game of football.

In the final, they came up against a very strong Carnew side. Despite giving their all and battling right to the final whistle, they were defeated and understandably disappointed with the result.

However, the boys should be extremely proud of their efforts. They had a brilliant experience and enjoyed the opportunity to play against teams from five different counties.

*Overall, it was a fantastic day for their football development, with plenty of great memories and valuable lessons to take away. Well done to all the players.*

A big Thank You to Carnew Emmets GAA Club for hosting a great occasion.
