Well done to Pat Cody on winning this years Captains Prize ( Richard Doyle ) we will post full results later and more photos of all the other Prize winners, Due to the extreme bad forecast we moved the play off to 2pm with a shotgun start , this was followed by a BBQ and prize giving, thanks to all that made it a great day and night , congratulations Pat .

Last Tuesday was the President’s Prize to the lady members, we had both an 18 hole and a 9 hole Stableford competition, well done to all the winners and to those that took part .

Our singles Matchplay finals took place last Saturday , we had 2 groups, Group one was up to 15 handicaps and Group two was 15 plus handicaps. The 2 finals were keenly contested with the group A match between Vinny Doran and Brian McDermott going all the way with Vinny winning, the group B match between Garret Murphy and Patrick McCormack went to the 19 th with Garret winning . Congratulations to all .

Ruth Stenson’s Captain Prize was a huge success, we were blessed with glorious weather for both the golf and the BBQ that followed. Congratulations to Suzanne Stirrat who had a wonderful round closely follow by Emer McGeough and Paula Fry. Well done to all the ladies who competed and attended the Prize giving and BBQ. Also thanks to Peter Byrne who provided the entertainment also a huge thanks to Sam , Richie , Meabh , Anthony and Ruth for all their hard work on the day . Well done to all.
