Today’s Mini World Cup was a great success with nearly 250 children taking part on a day that the weather gods certainly looked after us.

The club would like to thank everyone involved, especially those who gave up their Sunday to help with the organisation and running of the event.

The fantastic work done today by The Grill Shack and Aindí’s coffee shop to keep so many people refreshed also deserves a special mention.

Well done to all the children who took part and we really hope you all enjoyed the experience!!

Big thanks to KCFC senior player Dan Gilbert for hosting the lads for a great fitness, mobility and recovery session at Johnstown House, Enfield last Monday as part of our pre-season preparations.

Tomorrow morning, Caífe Aindí will make its long awaited debut as it opens for business from our new coffee kiosk at the Bawnogues.

Aindí’s will be open until lunchtime tomorrow and on Sunday during our Mini World Cup before becoming a permanent fixture from Tuesday next week.

Many of you will already know Aindí’s owner Yvonne Murray from her time teaching in Scoil uí Ríada and more recently as she traveled around Kildare in her mobile coffee unit.

We really hope that you will show her your support as she begins this exciting new adventure at Kilcock Celtic F.C.

A brilliant few days of football, learning and development for all the players involved. A huge thank you to everyone who made the camp such a success.

We followed it up with a superb coaches’ workshop with Shelbourne’s Tony O’Neill — another fantastic opportunity for our coaches to learn, develop and bring new ideas back to our teams.

Big thanks to Shels and Tony for their time and expertise. We’re delighted to continue building our affiliation and creating more opportunities for both our players and coaches. 👏⚽️

Just a reminder that the deadline for entering in this year’s Mini World Cup is tomorrow, so please ensure registration is completed to avoid disappointment!

The Kilcock Celtic Mini World Cup will take place at the Bawnogues on Sunday 30th August from 10am.

This is a fun day for all children and their families to mark the end of the summer holidays. Refreshments, food and other treats will be available so please come and take part in what promises to be an enjoyable day for our community.

The day will consist of 5 a side matches for all children from U7 (born 2020) to U13 (born 2013) with separate competitions for boys and girls. Entry is not restricted to current players so feel free to share with friends.

Trophies and medals will be awarded at the end of the day. There’s a €5 entry fee so just click on the link below to register or scan the QR code so we can organise our teams before the event!

🙌 | 𝐔𝟏𝟖 𝐊𝐃𝐔𝐋 𝐂𝐮𝐩 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬

Congratulations to the Kilcock Celtic Girls on winning the U18 KDUL Cup Final against Monasterevin AFC yesterday. It was a tight game as expected, with Kilcock producing a great team performance to win 4-2.

This is an incredible achievement for this very young team, who have improved each week under the coaching of Janette, Kevin and Thomas. Coaches have now recorded the guiding of 5 different Club teams to Cup Finals in 5 years, winning 4 of them.

Congrats to Hannah on receiving Player of the Match Award.

Well done to KDUL and Newbridge United FC for hosting the U15,U16 & U18 Finals.
