Great to see two of the SWFC u12s team representing the NERL 2014 squad.

Well done Ben and Joey, better results to come but we're all very proud of you. Keep up the good work!

SFAI Interleague Round 1 – (2014 Boys)
Dundalk 4–2 NERL Academy

The NERL Academy 2014 Boys suffered a 4–2 defeat away to Dundalk in their opening SFAI Interleague fixture of the season.

The Academy made the perfect start, taking the lead after just two minutes when Milo Englishby reacted quickest to finish the rebound after Joey Doyle's effort struck the post.

However, Dundalk responded strongly, scoring twice before the break to lead 2–1 at half-time.

The NERL created two excellent one-on-one opportunities to equalise after the restart, but were unable to convert. Dundalk capitalised on defensive errors and added two further goals to extend their advantage to 4–1.

To their credit, the Academy continued to battle, with Milo Englishby grabbing his second following excellent work from Ben McCarthy.

Despite creating further opportunities in the closing stages, the NERL couldn't reduce the deficit.

Next up for the Academy is a home fixture against Wicklow, where they'll look to bounce back from today's defeat.

⚽️🎉 SWFC Family Fun Day 2026: A Thank you! 🎉⚽️

To everyone who came along to our SWFC Family Fun Day on September 6th... THANK YOU! 🙌💙
What an amazing day for our club and community! Seeing so many smiling faces, hearing the laughter, and watching the kids enjoy every minute made all the hard work worthwhile. Looking at these photos 📸, we think it's safe to say they had a fantastic day!

The weather behaved, the crowds turned out, and of course our famous cow Dela was the talk of the day! 🐄and while she didn't quite do what we expected her to do 💩🤣 we still managed to crown a winner, so congratulations Agnes Matczynska!👏- also a huge well done to Jack Brady on winning the skills challenge and Amber McCabe on winning the Sweet Jar guessing game.

The Family Fun Day was our way of giving something back to the community that supports us all year round 💙🤝, and thanks to your incredible generosity we also raised over €4,000 towards the continued development of our pitch and facilities!
A very special thank you to our amazing supporters:
💙 Davy Smyth, Centra Slane & Hire 24
💙 Paula Faulkner, St Patrick's Day Parade Slane
