Killester Basketball Club is now recruiting for the position of Men’s Super League Head Coach.

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced coach to lead our Men’s Super League programme and help drive the continued success of one of Ireland’s most established basketball clubs.

Requirements:
▪️ Minimum Level 1 Coaching Qualification (or equivalent)
▪️ Senior coaching experience
▪️ Knowledge of Irish National Leagues preferred

A massive congratulations also to Jerome Westbrook on being inducted into the Basketball Ireland Hall of Fame, a well-deserved honour for his impact and legacy in the game.

Great display from our U12 D1 Killester Boys team today at the Cork County Board Tournament in Parochial Hall Arena. The boys played four fantastic games, showing great teamwork, skill and determination throughout the day, reaching the quarter finals before unfortunately losing out to the eventual tournament winners, Éanna.

Super proud of this super team and the way they represented the club from start to finish. Well done boys 👏🏀

Our U15 girls and U15 boys are off to Madrid this morning for a brilliant weekend of basketball. 🏀🧡🖤

The teams have a packed schedule ahead, with friendly games against Getafe, a skills session with a Spanish coach, and the chance to watch Real Madrid take on Murcia.

A fantastic opportunity to learn, compete and experience the game at a high level. Best of luck to both teams, enjoy every minute of it! 👏

A huge congratulations to our U15(2) boys on a superb Top 4 Final win last night, capping off a fantastic season! 🏆🧡🖤

The lads delivered a convincing performance, built on an outstanding defensive display, to secure both the league title and Top 4 crown.

It was also great to see them on the sideline supporting our D3 lads in their overtime win, showing the strength and unity across the group.

A brilliant achievement all round, and fully deserved as they now earn promotion to Division 1 next season. Well done lads! 👏🏀

After trailing by four in the first quarter, the lads showed great determination to battle back, take the lead, and then dig deep again when the game was level at full time. They stepped up in extra time to secure a fantastic win over Éanna.

A brilliant team performance full of heart, resilience and hard work. A proud moment for the group as they now look ahead to moving up to Division 2 and embracing the challenge next season. Well done lads! 👏
