We wish to inform you that following a public tendering process, Offaly County Council have awarded the management contract for the Tullamore Leisure Centre to another operator who will commence operations on December 1st 2026. After the 30th of November 2026 we will no longer manage the facility.

It has been a privilege to serve the community of Tullamore and surrounding areas, support your health and fitness journeys, and welcome you through our doors over the past 20 years. We thank you for your loyalty, support, and the community spirit you have brought to the centre.

We would like to acknowledge our team at Aura Tullamore that has worked incredibly hard to deliver exceptional service to our customers and we are deeply grateful for everything they have done to help us advance our vision of creating a Healthier Happier Ireland.

We are grateful to Offaly County Council for their support over the years and we wish the new operator of Tullamore Leisure Centre all the best for the future.

What this means for customers:
All existing memberships, bookings, and scheduled activities will remain unaffected up to 30th November 2026.

Monthly Memberships:
The last direct debit run will take place 1st November. No further action required.

Annual Memberships:
The unexpired portion of annual memberships (i.e. from December 1st 2026 onwards) will be refunded by bank transfer by the end of November. To claim your refund please follow the instruction that was set out in the email sent to members today.

Swim Lesson Enrolments:
Swim lessons will continue up to the end of November as planned with the remaining two weeks of lessons refunded to parents/guardians by bank transfer by the end of November. To claim your refund please follow the instruction that was set out in the email sent to parents/guardians today.

Aura Tullamore Gift Vouchers:
If you have an Aura Tullamore gift voucher but have not yet presented it to us or have presented the voucher and not used the entire balance please visit https://www.auraleisure.ie/tullamore-voucher-refunds/ and submit the required details before Wednesday 11th November 2026 so that we can arrange a bank transfer.

We are working closely with Offaly County Council to ensure a smooth, seamless transition for all members, customers and staff.
