GBA Boxers Shine at Mini State Games 2025
Bengaluru, November 5, 2025:
Congratulations to all the talented boxers who represented Bangalore Urban at the Mini State Games 2025, held from 3rd to 5th November 2025 at Kanteerava Stadium, Bengaluru. The event was proudly organized by the Karnataka Olympic Association (KOA) and the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports (DYES).
GBA boxers delivered outstanding performances in the ring, showcasing their skill, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the competition.
π₯ Parinitha M. clinched the Gold Medal, dominating her bouts and winning two matches by RSC in the 1st round.
π₯ Srinivas Rao S. secured the Silver Medal, winning two matches before narrowly missing gold in the finals by a split decision.
π₯ Tharun S. earned the Bronze Medal, putting up a strong fight β winning one match and bowing out in the semifinal by unanimous decision.
Their remarkable achievements highlight GBAβs growing strength in the boxing arena and reflect the hard work of both athletes and coaches.

the STATE LEVEL SUB-JUNIOR GIRLS' AND BOYS' KARNATAKA STATE LEVEL BOXING CHAMPIONSHIP 2025 Organized by Karnataka amateur boxing association under the auspices of the Boxing Federation of India
Dates: 25th & 26th July 2025
Venue: Boxing Hall, SAK Building, Shree Kanteerava Stadium Sports Complex, Kasturba Road, Bangalore β 560001
Participants: Over 200 young athletes representing districts across Karnataka
Purpose: Winners of this championship are qualified to represent Karnataka at the Sub-Junior National Boxing Championship 2025 to be held at Noida, Uttar Pradesh
GBA students under the expert guidance of Chief Coach Anil Kumar L and Coach Mr.Allwyn D'souza., turned in a stellar performance at the recent subβjunior boxing championships. Their rising stars brought home multiple medals and the prestigious βBest Boxer Award.β

1. Parinitha M. (D.o.B: 20 February 2011, 52β55 kg) secured the Best Boxer Award, earning gold with two emphatic firstβround RSC victories: first over Kushi (Bangalore North) in the semi-final, then against Evangeline (TFC Belgaum) in the final.

2. Srinivas Rao S. (Born 13 December 2011, 37β40 kg) brought home Gold π₯, advancing through:
Preβquarter: RSC win over Ethan DβSouza
Quarter-final: unanimous 5β0 vs. Karan (Belgaum)
Semi-final: unanimous 5β0 vs. Laksh (Bangalore North)
Final: narrow splitβdecision 3β2 win over Dinesh (SAK)
3. Vaibhav Sai S. (Born 7 July 2011, 61β64 kg) clinched Gold π₯ in a thrilling final, edging out Manish (Mysore) via a split decision (3β2).
4. Tharun S. (Born 6 July 2011, 30β33 kg) earned Silver π₯, losing the final by a split decision (2β3) to Leekath Chengappa (Kodagu).
5. Franklin C. (Born 17 October 2012, 55β58 kg) also took Silver π₯ after a semi-final unanimous decision win (5β0) over Jaswanth S., but fell by unanimous 5β0 decision to Hamza Khan (MWBC) in the final.
6. S. Jashwanth (Born 28 August 2011, 55β58 kg) and Rikith Dario M. (Born 27 June 2011, 46β49 kg) each won Bronze π₯ medals.
7. Ethan DβSouza (Born 10 June 2011, 37β40 kg) and Mohit S. (Born 23 August 2011, 40β43 kg) participated with determination and valuable ring experience.
