Inhale slowly… as the breath begins to rise, a gentle ocean sound forms within.
Exhale with control, letting everything heavy soften away.
Ujjayi Breath is not just a technique — it’s a rhythm that steadies the mind, warms the body, and brings awareness into every movement.
When the breath is steady, the mind follows.
When the mind is quiet, yoga begins.
Practice slowly. Listen deeply. Flow consciously.

Precautions & Contraindications in Pranayama Practice
Pranayama is a powerful yogic practice that should always be approached with awareness and proper guidance.
Precautions:
• Practice on an empty stomach or at least 3–4 hours after meals
• Sit in a comfortable posture with a straight spine
• Begin slowly — never force the breath
• Practice in a clean, calm, and well-ventilated space
• Stop immediately if you feel dizziness, discomfort, or breathlessness
• Learn advanced pranayama only under an experienced teacher
Contraindications:
• Avoid intense pranayama during fever, severe cold, or respiratory infections
• People with high blood pressure, heart conditions, or anxiety disorders should avoid forceful techniques like Kapalabhati & Bhastrika without supervision
• Pregnant women should avoid strong breath retention practices
• Those with recent surgeries or chronic illness should consult a doctor and yoga expert before practice
Remember — in pranayama, quality of breath matters more than quantity. Slow, mindful breathing brings the deepest benefits.
