Let Creativity Shine Brighter This Diwali!

A splash of colours, a spark of imagination, and beautiful handmade lanterns! Students at Government Senior Secondary School, Mohali, Punjab, celebrated Diwali by turning their creative ideas into colourful festive decorations.

Through this DIY activity, students explored their artistic side, developed hands-on skills, and discovered how simple materials can be transformed into something wonderful with imagination and effort.

Because every little creation carries a big idea, and every creative moment makes learning more memorable!

From an empty space to a centre of curiosity, what a journey!

A Mini Science Centre now stands at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar CM Shri School, A6 Paschim Vihar, New Delhi. With interactive STEM models now within reach, students can explore scientific ideas in a way that feels exciting and real.

Every model tells a story, and every story helps a child understand the world a little better. This is how learning becomes memorable.

How Do Pictures Appear to Move?

A series of pictures. A spinning drum. And suddenly, the pictures seem to come alive!

Through the Zoetrope model, students explored how a sequence of images viewed in quick succession creates the illusion of movement — the same basic principle behind animation.

The activity brought this concept to life for students at Govt. Girls Sr. Sec. School, Gandhi Nagar, , making science easier to visualise and understand.

At St. Francis D’Assisi High School, the Refresh Teacher Training Program helped teachers explore effective ways to use STEM models in everyday classroom teaching, making scientific concepts easier to explain and understand.

By bringing visual and hands-on learning into the classroom, teachers can encourage students to ask questions, explore scientific principles, and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them. Because when teachers teach through experience, curiosity turns into meaningful learning!

Your body is made of trillions of tiny cells. But what’s inside one?

In Bargawan, , students at the Government school got to look inside. Their teacher used an Animal Cell model to show them the nucleus, the mitochondria and the other parts that keep a cell alive. Then the students began identifying the parts themselves.

A model you can see and touch makes the cell feel much less like a diagram in a textbook.

At Govt. Higher School, Manegaon, Balaghat, , students engage with the Hand Pump model to explore how the application of pressure enables water to be pumped. The model turns a familiar everyday mechanism into an opportunity for scientific discovery.

By connecting the concepts of pressure and volume with a practical example, students develop a better understanding of how science operates beyond textbooks and plays an important role in everyday life.

With the support of The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited - NPCIL, students get opportunities to experience science through interactive STEM learning and build a stronger foundation in scientific concepts.

At Govt. Girls Secondary School, Lambi Gali, Chawri Bazar, New Delhi, , the teacher uses a hands-on STEM model to explain Newton’s First Law of Motion.
