🛹 Eden največjih in najsodobnejših skate parkov v regiji je dokončan! In po prvih dneh je jasno, da smo ga v Celju potrebovali. 💪 Številni skejterji, BMX kolesarji in uporabniki skirojev ga že s pridom uporabljajo.
🙌 Še posebej smo ponosni, da smo park ustvarjali skupaj z njegovimi bodočimi uporabniki. Že med projektiranjem smo k sodelovanju povabili lokalne skejterje, rolkarje in BMX kolesarje ter Skate zvezo Slovenije, njihove predloge, izkušnje in želje pa vključili v končno zasnovo. Nastal je park za uporabnike – tudi po njihovih idejah.
🏆 In najboljša potrditev kakovosti novega parka prihaja že čez nekaj tednov. Med 25. in 27. septembrom bo Celje gostilo World Rookie Skateboard Finals 2026, finale svetovne serije World Rookie Tour, na katerem se bodo pomerili nekateri najboljši mladi rolkarji z vsega sveta. Takrat bomo skate park tudi uradno odprli.
🛴 Do takrat pa – park je vaš! Vsem želimo varno uporabo, dobre linije, veliko novih trikov in obilo športnih užitkov!

The biggest showdown of the season is getting closer: the 2026 World Rookie Skateboard Finals are coming to Celje! 🇸🇮
From September 25–27, some of the best young skateboarders from around the world will take over Celje Skatepark and battle for the ultimate goal: becoming a World Rookie Champion in Street or Bowl. 🏆
WCS ranking points, international wildcards, prizes, the Street Finals LIVE broadcast and a spot in the World Rookie Tour Hall of Fame are all on the line.

Grom & Rookie categories, prizes up for grabs and, most importantly, the Top 3 riders in each category will qualify for the World Rookie Skateboard Finals in Celje!

The Finland Rookie Fest 2026 landed at GRIP SkatePark in Tampere, bringing together Finland’s next generation of skateboarders to battle for valuable World Rookie Rank points and qualification spots for the 2026 World Rookie Skateboard Finals in Velenje, Slovenia.
