My Thursday evening πŸ₯°

27/07/2026

Let's continue joining hands to help N'ete.

Help save ’Nete’s future

At just 12 years old, ’Nete should be focused on school, friends, and dreams for the future. Instead, he is currently in ICU after suffering a devastating dog attack that has left him with life-threatening injuries.

His recovery journey will be long and will require specialist medical care, reconstructive surgeries, medication, and rehabilitation.

If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing his story. Your share could reach someone who is able to make a life-changing difference.

Let’s come together and show ’Nete and his family that they are not alone.

Dear Tumy Mmabatho Senoko

I am lying here thinking about the day you were born back in 1984, with all that pure, quiet snow blanketing the world. It feels so far away from where I am standing right now.To be completely honest, my heart is heavy today. Sometimes, when I think about you being at peace in heaven, a part of me feels jealous. It hurts to imagine you being happy, whole, and completely okay when I am down here feeling so broken and empty without you. It feels unfair that the world keeps moving, that heaven keeps celebrating, while I am left behind carrying the crushing weight of missing you.

I miss your laugh, your presence, and the warmth you brought into my life. The love I have for you hasn't changed, but the pain of your absence is overwhelming today. I am trying to find comfort in knowing you are safe and free from any sorrow, but I just really wish you were here with me instead.

With all my love, always,
Lebzana πŸ«‚πŸ«‚πŸ₯°πŸ₯°

He wrote a beautiful Mother’s Day card to his Mom 6 months before she passed on. The words, "I missed you through the exams," and "I want you to never die," eish..... Mama, I hope you are looking over your boys! How I WISH parents stayed longer, every parent!!

48 years of being a present and intentional father.

Ntate, alongside Mme, you nurtured, groomed, guided, and loved us through every season of life.

You filled our fridges, bought the 48kg gas that kept our home warm, paid our school fees, taught us life lessons, and counseled us when we needed wisdom. You carried our burdens long before we knew how heavy they were. I still remember you walking me to school, carrying my heavy school bag when I started Form 1, and walking me to Class 7 at 5 a.m. on cold winter mornings, sometimes through snow, simply to make sure I arrived safely.

You were never afraid to correct us when we went astray, to discipline bad behavior, and to redirect our paths toward becoming better people. Your love was not only spokenβ€”it was demonstrated through sacrifice, consistency, protection, provision, and presence. Today, I honor and celebrate you, Mofokeng. Thank you for every step you walked with us, every lesson you taught us, and every sacrifice you made for our future. I am forever grateful to call you my father, my patriach, and my protector. Happy Father's Day. β€οΈπŸ™πŸΎπŸ‘‘

Can you still feel loved when someone loves you in their own way, not the way you expect to be loved?
