It was a tough yet satisfying experience where all national athletes gave their utmost.

All the Maltese athletes have pushed their limits and obtained fantastic results at the OCR European Championships in Spain.
A special shout out goes to Ben Pace who upon his first international participation placed 🥈 and Emily Vella who also placed 🥈 in their respective age groups, overcoming a very challenging 3km with 20+ obstacle course race .
Michael Borg managed to secure a 4th place , April Gatt placed 7th and Faith Butigieg 14th in their respective age groups 3k race .
Ben Pace, Andy Caruana, Neville Gauci, April Gatt and Faith Butigieg passed for the round of last 16 in the OCR 100m sprint whilst Emily Vella and Julian Debono are the first Maltese to ever qualify for the top 8 in the whole OCR100m tournament 💪.
Daniel Vella broke the national record for the OCR100m obtaining a time of 33.27 seconds .
Well done to the whole Maltese contingent!
Official opening of the OCR European Championships and our brave athletes are amongst over 2000 other participants from all over Europe . Some of the team already took part in the OCR100m sprint and currently awaiting final results after tomorrow's qualifiers. Stay tuned for more and thank you for the support !

Irun has officially started the countdown. ⏳
Today, together with Irun, we officially presented the OCR European Championships 2026 at Irun City Hall.
From May 28 to 31, Irun will welcome more than 2,500 athletes from 25 countries for a historic edition, as Spain hosts this championship for the very first time. 🔥
