Some beautiful moments from our performance at the Special Olympics Opening Ceremony 💙✨

This was a truly special and unique experience for our 20 athletes, who had the opportunity to perform together to live music, incorporating acrobatics, beautiful pattern changes, and choreography throughout the performance.

Being part of such an important event and having the opportunity to pass on the torch was a privilege we will always remember. It was a meaningful experience for our athletes and coaches, and one that we will carry with us for a long time.

A heartfelt thank you to Director Sean Buhagiar for trusting us with this special performance, and to Special Olympics for giving us the opportunity to be part of such an important occasion.

A huge thank you also to for beautifully capturing these moments and allowing us to relive the performance through their photographs. 📸

And finally, a big well done to Coach Laura Marquez and Alessia for their creativity, dedication, and work behind the production of this performance. 💙

In Loving Memory of Ian Ruggier 💙

Today, we remember our former President, Ian Ruggier, whose passing in 2022 left a lasting impact on Synchro Knights and on the many people who had the privilege of knowing him.

Ian gave so much to our club through his leadership, dedication, and genuine care for the people around him. He believed in the importance of community, encouraged others to grow, and always worked towards making our club stronger.

His legacy continues to live on through the values he shared with us: dedication, kindness, generosity, teamwork, and a belief in supporting one another. These values remain part of who we are as a club today.

While time has passed, Ian’s contribution and memory remain very much a part of our Synchro Knights family. We are grateful for everything he gave to our club and for the difference he made in the lives of those around him.

May he continue to rest in peace.

Last night was a night to remember and cherish for a lifetime as Synchro Knights took part in the opening ceremony for Special Olympics Malta's 'Beyond the Wave' Festival ❤️

Our Junior, Senior and Youth athletes, under the guidance of Artistic & Technical Coordinator Laura Marquez Urrego and coach Alessia Cardona Taliana, produced an amazing show in the water like never before 🔥

Performing to the beautiful live music of the The Palace String Orchestra and with the dramatic narration of Jeremy Grech as Toni Bajada in a re-imagined ‘1565’ ⚔️

A truly emotional evening!!
