Melita FC mourns the passing of Franco Mizzi, a former committee member and loyal supporter of the club.

Franco formed part of a memorable period in our history, serving on the committee during the 2011/2012 season when Melita FC achieved promotion to the Premier Division. His dedication and contribution to the club during those years will always be remembered.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time.

Well done to our Under 9s who took part in the very well organised KHS Tournament this weekend. 👏

On Saturday, the team competed in the group stages where they finished 3rd, securing a place in the Challengers Group alongside some of the top Maltese teams. The boys then went on to finish with 3 wins and 1 loss, narrowly missing out on 1st place on goal difference.

A great effort from all the players and coaches throughout the tournament. 🔴⚪️

Well done once again to KHS for organising the event, and we already look forward to participating again next year.

A big shoutout to our very own Zac Baldacchino Orland for earning his call-up to the Malta U14 National Team. The Malta U14 contingent will be travelling to North Macedonia to play two international friendly matches between the 15th and 18th May 2026.
