Since 2019, Malta Cricket has proudly hosted 80+ international matches in Malta through events such as the Valletta Cup T20Is, Mdina Cup T20Is, European Cricket Series, European international tournaments, and bilateral series — helping showcase Malta as a growing destination for international cricket and sports tourism 🏏🇲🇹

The 2026 grant schemes give us renewed hope to bring even more international events to our shores, placing Malta on the global cricket stage while strengthening sports tourism and community engagement.

The Malta Cricket Association has successfully completed its registration with AIMS. Following this milestone, affiliated clubs are now actively pursuing their own registrations with AIMS. Compliance with local sports legislation remains a cornerstone of good governance and represents a hallmark of standardization and professionalism within the sport of cricket in Malta.
