Happy 25th birthday Julian.

Today, we find ourselves thinking about the person you would be at 25.

It’s strange to imagine. We think about where life might have taken you, the person you might have become, the places you might have seen, the people you might have met, and all the memories we should have been making together.

There are so many moments in life where we catch ourselves wondering what you would be doing now. What you would be laughing about. What you would have to say. Who you would be today.

Six birthdays have passed, yet days like today remind us that time doesn’t mean forgetting. If anything, it makes us more aware of everything that was taken from you, and from all of us who loved you.

We wish we could celebrate 25 with you. We wish we could see where life would have taken you. Most of all, we wish you were here.

Today isn’t only about the years we’ve lost. It’s about celebrating the 20 years we were lucky enough to have you, and being grateful that, for those years, we got to call you our friend, our brother, and one of our own.

BBFC - CLUB STATEMENT

Balluta Barracudas announces that Club President Brian Bartolo will be stepping down from his role after eight years at the heart of the club.

From day one, Brian played a crucial role in the inception of Balluta Barracudas, helping turn an idea into the club we know today. Over the years, his passion and commitment have been a huge part of the club’s journey.

Brian has been there through the highs, the challenges, and everything in between, always giving his all for the club and everyone involved.

On behalf of everyone at the club, we would like to express our sincere thanks to Brian for everything he has done over the past eight years. His impact on the club will not be forgotten, and he will always remain part of the Barracudas family.

BBFC - CLUB STATEMENT

At the conclusion of the MAFA season, Balluta Barracudas confirms that the club has suffered its first-ever relegation. This is a difficult moment in the club’s history and one that we do not take lightly.

Everyone at the club would like to extend our sincere thanks to our sponsors Largefather, , and .mt for their continued support throughout the season and for standing by us during what has been a very challenging campaign.

We would also like to thank our players and staff, who have shown resilience, commitment, and determination from the beginning of the season right up until the end. Despite facing a series of tough results, they continued to represent the club with pride week after week.

As individuals, we understand that this club belongs in the top division, and we are fully committed to doing everything in our power to take Balluta Barracudas back to where it belongs.

Next season marks another chapter in what has been an incredible journey for the club so far.

Five years, Julian.

Time doesn’t heal the loss of someone like you. It just teaches us how to carry it, how to live with the silence you left behind, and the space that nobody else could ever fill.

In the beginning, we were broken. And in that grief, we questioned everything. We asked ourselves if we should keep going… if we could keep going. If continuing without you would feel wrong, as though we were leaving you behind.

One thing became clear with time.

We were never continuing without you.

Simply becasue you never stopped being part of our lives and of this club. You’re in the values that you yourself helped us build this on. You’re in the togetherness. You’re in every time we show up and every time we fight for each other. You’re still here not as a memory, but as a presence that never left us.

Your impact reaches far beyond football. Life is different now. Moments feel more important. People are valued more. The smallest things… a laugh, a conversation, a hug carry more meaning than they ever did before. Tomorrow is never promised, and we learned that in the hardest way through the greatest loss.

So today, five years on, we don’t just mourn you. We carry you. Proudly. Always.

Forever one of us.

Always our brother.

Cudas Christmas Event 🎄

Last night the club held its Christmas event at . An incredible setting and the perfect place for private functions, where you’re treated to one of the most authentic and truly local experiences on the island 🤩

The evening was made even more special with catering by .mt_ run by two extremely talented chefs who offer curated private dining experiences on request. The food was outstanding and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone on the night!

The evening was made even more meaningful as we raised money for a charity very close to our hearts — Julian’s Pathfinder Foundation, which aims to help children find their path in life and make a positive impact on society ❤️

A big thank you to both Ta Cicivetta Farm and Sage for helping us close out the year in the best way possible.

FT CUDAS 1-1 SAN GILJAN SAINTS
*4-2 WIN ON PENALTIES

Back to back derby wins for The Cudas 😍

In what was an entertaining game started with the Saints going ahead 10 minutes into the second half. Only a minute later, a brilliantly worked team move resulted in a neat finish from our new signing, Anton Berglund, who was then awarded with the MOTM award 🔥

The Cudas had a few good opportunities to win the game in normal time but ultimately failed to do so.

In the shootout, it was Cuda keeper who tipped the odds in our favour as he pulled off a super save, sending the boys on their way to the Semi-finals next Saturday ⏳
