In the AI gold rush, most people are busy trying to do more, fast. Very few are investing in how they actually think.

Inside this carousel I show you the big mistake almost everyone is making with AI and how you can rewire your mind to build the meta-skill of mental clarity.

If you want the20-minute daily system I use with my clients to do this, comment “RDT” and I’ll send you the video walkthrough.

May the growth be with you,
Ege

I stopped reading self help books at 24 years old.

Not because I stopped caring but I realized something about beliefs & states most people miss.

Most analytical men I work with can name their patterns precisely and have some type of framework for what to do.

But the moment they fail at something, the same response fires in their being. Shame. Self-attack. A familiar downwards spiral.

Here’s why the books didn’t do anything:

Understanding lives in the prefrontal cortex. Trigger usually live in the limbic system so the reading doesn’t actually reach there.

There are two researchers, Daniel Goldman and Richard Davidson, who spent decades studying long term meditators and the thesis of their book comes down to one thing:

- The states you practice the most often eventually become your traits

If your most frequent state is low-grade self-criticism, that becomes who you are. No book changes which state runs by default. Only practicing a new state will.

So here’s what I do instead of reading more:

I picked one state, the “Unconditional Loving Witness” as I practiced holding it and bringing it up for 30-60 minutes a day.

Every day for 60 days. That’s when my state and relationship to myself began changing.

This is also what the RDT Loop is for. Regulate, Debug, Track. 20 minutes daily.

If you want the step-by-step walkthrough, comment “ACCESS” and I’ll DM you the video.

Why your drive sometimes steals your happiness

28/05/2026

Between 2020-2022, I mostly lived in Latin counties. Mexico, Colombia Brazil. I ended up learning Spanish and fell in love with the music.

I couldn’t dance at the time because I was recovering from a torn meniscus injury from basketball.

But years later when I was in Chiang Mai, Thailand, I decided to start bachata classes with friends.

Since I live a nomadic lifestyle I thought it would be a fun way to connect with people wherever I want without needing to speak the same language.

But I didn’t expect bachata to give me the cleanest analogy for what I had been teaching for years.

In bachata I can see my teacher doing a body roll. I logically understand, “Okay that’s how the movement looks like.”

But when I try it, it looks nothing like his because he’s put thousands of hours and I have put a dozen.

With belief work, you read “Self compassion beats self criticism.” The science is clear, make sense but next time you fam at something, you still attack yourself. Why?

Because you understood the date, you didn’t practice it.

I encourage my clients these days to spend more time practicing states than reading. Start with feeling warmth. Imagine someone who you care about deeply or someone who cares about you.

See if you can stay there for 10, 15, 20 minutes.

What matters is that you stop trying to read your way into change. Your body has to put in the reps too.

If you want the daily 20-minutes system I use with clients to actually build access to the states that you keep trying to read your way into,

Comment “BODY” and I’ll DM you the walkthrough.

If it’s a cloudy day, do you think the sun disappeared?

Photos from Data Driven Actualization's post 26/05/2026

12 years ago I was a 225 pound video game addict who couldn’t talk to strangers and played League of Legends 6 hours a day to numb out.

I convinced everyone (including myself) that I was just an introvert who liked gaming.

That was a lie. I was hiding.

By 22, I had built the life I wanted on paper. Lost 65 pounds. Developed awesome friendships. Built a business that helped me travel around the world and only work with people I like.

Even though I had time freedom, financial freedom, social freedom and location freedom, my mind still felt like an enemy instead of an ally.

That’s when I discovered TWIM through my mentor Pierre. A loving kindness meditation that helped me train states of joy, calm and warmth so eventually those states became who I was.

I started with 30 minutes a day and built up to 90 minute sits sometimes at 1 or 2 AM after coming back from dinner with friends.

Eventually people kept asking me: “Dude how are you so chill all the time?”

Or some friends joked that I was always “tapped into the source.” (Obviously I am not)

This all happened because I realized I could train states I wanted to build like a skill,

Instead of taking waking up in the morning with a sense of rush / anxiety as just life.

As they say, whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right.

Don’t create problems when there isn’t any because of online content

25/05/2026

Number 4 is the trap most smart men can’t even see 👇

1) He can name his trigger response with clinical precision but still falls into it the next time it fires.

He knows the mechanism. He’s described it in therapy. He has a framework for it. But the framework goes out the window in the moment

2) He’s read tons of books on communication and attachment but he avoids the hard conversation when it counts.

The text from his girlfriend has been sitting unanswered for a few hours. In the meantime he’s “reflecting” on what’s going on with PhD level vocabulary.

3) He confuses talking about his patterns with changing them.

He’s spent years in therapy, going over the same story but didn’t have a predictable way to rewire it. He thinks talking is helping but there’s a part of him that wonders, “Is there a better way to do this?”

4) When a pattern he’s familiar with fires, he gets frustrated for not knowing better.

It’s his pattern of self attack firing again, just disguised as taking responsibility.

5) He has to build a 10-page gameplan on a problem before taking a small action towards the solution.

If this speaks to you, here’s what nobody talks about.

Understanding and access are two different things. Reading builds understanding, it’s cognitive. Sure, you can quote Carl Jung or explain your attachment style to a friend at brunch.

But access comes from practicing a state until it’s available to you on demand. Under pressure when it actually matters.

Smart men get stuck on understanding because we’ve been rewarded for doing so our whole lives. At school. In our career and more. The nervous system mistakes understanding for transformation.

It’s not. So many shadow patterns live in the body and reading doesn’t each it.

If you want the daily system I use with clients to bridge the gap between understanding the pattern and actually rewiring it,

comment “INTERRUPT” and I’ll DM you the walkthrough.
