πŸ€ U18 Boys Team Profiles πŸ€

Mid Canterbury’s U18 Boys are set for an exciting challenge at the Mainland Championships, stepping up to compete against some of the strongest teams in the South Island.

This group has been putting in strong work throughout the season, including training alongside the U19s, where they’ve really impressed with their effort and competitiveness. They also looked sharp at Mid South Day on Sunday, showing great signs of what’s to come. There’s plenty of potential in this group, and the sky is the limit as they continue to develop.

The team is led by coach Ben Copland.

πŸ€ NBS Men’s League Recap

What a night of basketball with two absolute thrillers!

Nomads took out Checkers 79–75 in a Game of the Week classic, with both teams trading runs all game before Nomads finished stronger in the clutch.

In Game 2, Eagles held off a fast-finishing FDWNZ side 110–108 in a high-scoring shootout. FDWNZ hit 16 threes and came within a basket late, but Eagles’ composure down the stretch got them over the line.

Two tight finishes, huge scoring nights, and nonstop action πŸ”₯
